I've been trying to learn Illustrator for a while and watched probably over 100 videos in the past month. This is the only one that manages to tell a story along with comedy and teaching. I'm really surprised this doesn't have over a million views. Thanks!!!

Thanks for your comment! Pathfinder can definitely take some getting used to. I wanted to be sure I covered it extensively, even though I mostly just use 3-4 of the tools for my own work. Happy shape building!!

Thank you! Such a fun way to learn more about these! I'd like a more detailed version to understand processes while designing a logo. Depending on what different parts need to be different colours... that's what I'm struggling with at the moment. I don't use Illustrator every day so I always need to refresh when I come to a new project. Never-ending learning....

Can you somehow automate the over-under look of a Celtic knot? I know Illustrator isn't meant to do 3D, but can this obstacle be overcome?

There’s a couple ways I can think of, but shape builder would be a perfect tool to build something like that. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rbiPlpCV1bHWiIk.html
