24:24 Mahmud marched through Rajputana and without any resistance, is totally false theory. In 1024 He was defeated at Ajmer by King VeeryaRam. Even he encountered resistance in Bhatner by Goga Ji Maharaj. He marched through desert areas in 1025 along the borders of Rajput states because he knew the Resistance of Ajmer and Chittor very well. He may choose Ajmer path from Multan and Punjab, which was more prosperous and well established trade route to Somnath. Mahmud also repulsed by King of Gwalior where he was forced to sign a treaty in which got only 25 elephants.

Not urdu but farzi was the prominent language of sultans and courts as they adopted persian style of administration...urdu-hindi both indo-aryan languages developed later in the 18th century simultaneously in areas around delhi from local languages like khariboli etc... urdu has persian-arabic influence where as hindi has sanskrit influence...they are basically 2 brothers of the same family 😊

I had partly read shahnama...it's deels with the pre Islamic kings of iran... the first part us mythical while the rest if the part we find the name of historical kings of iran...infact till today it's the national book of iran..I love shahnama. ..viewers if you are interested can read this book.
