Missed a ton of opportunity imo. Could have went over rough out care, water work boot care, bison leather care, grease vs oil, what type of brushes, boot trees were never discussed, boot dryers were never discussed. Like the content and all that info Im personally knowledgeable about but for some people new to boots or new to nicks that would have helped a TON.

I agree. Thanks for the suggestions. I think there’s a lot of opportunity here. This one was geared more towards how Nick and I take care of our personal boots but I think it would be cool to go deeper. There’s a lot of stuff to talk about on this subject.

Definitely want a non-liquid conditioner for veg tan. Smiths or Danner boot dressing works well. No venetian or sapphire.

👍 I wish you guys had discussed care for special leathers, like the Predator Orange.

Thanks for watching. Sorry we didn’t get to that one. I treat my Predator Orange boots like all of my other boots. I keep them brushed and use a conditioner like Smith’s or Otter Wax that won’t darken them too much. I haven’t tried it yet but I think Venetian Cream might be.tough to apply and remove from some of PO we get in.
