Sivaji Ganesan and Padmini are made for each other.They are the gift of the GOD.Whatelse to say. They lived earlier like a husband and wife even though they were not married in real life. Even now if we think about their acting and personal lives we will get tears in our eyes. They were the pillars of south Indian film integration a Malayali and a Tamil living as a husband and wife. They are immortal.

100% true. They were in love but Sivaji was already married so Padmini gave up the love. Many years later - in 2006 - Padmini said in an interview as to why they didn't get married "he was Thevar and I was Nair. So marriage was not a possibility". Whatever the case may be, the whole Sivaji family is indebted to Padmini for saving Sivaji's movie career.

Almost all sivaji's fans.But I think sivaji's intention was not to marry padmini.Because he already married and also had childrens.In that time of padmini's marriage sivaji's reputation in the society was very high.He knew himself if he marriy padmini all reputation will disappear soon.Many examples had in the film industry.But one thing I know solidly both were very affectionate each other.Recently I saw many padmini's interviews she never forget to speak about sivaji.One you dube video I saw recently someone asked her in the stage she embraced many heroes.But padmini strongly refused and said that she embraced the one and only sivaji Ganeshan and also said that she missed him very much. If you have time go you tube and see the song kannukkule ennai paru from maragatham movie and anbale thedia en arivu Selvam from theivapiravi also punarjenmam movie.padmini loves sivaji truly through her eyes.

@@amaha135 Though we don't know the truth, in all possibility they were lovers as many interviews indicate , *but only* till Sivaji got married ..Whatever love was cut short in the bud itself. But they remained close family friends thereafter. He would have skipped the marriage to avoid embarrassment to both which is understandable.

@@amaha135 amaha135, I absolutely agree. I have seen the youtube that you mentioned where Padmini is talking to audience while the dance team is getting prepared. She was humorous and mentioned the kattipudi theme and it was funny. It is true that she truly loved Sivaji. Otherwise, she would not have mentioned something like that @ such old age. She still looked beautiful.
