What a dynasty Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews made to the Hawks! It really almost makes me cry considering this era has been a big part of my life, and now this era is finally coming to an end, but at least it actually happened! That’s what I’m very grateful for!

Today as Kaner gets traded and Toews is out for the year, I had to return to this amazing video. It truly is the end of an era, the era and time I consider to be the best of my life. Having gone through middle school, high school, and college age (didn’t finish haha) watching these guys and loving them, today is an extremely bittersweet day. Go get that cup Kaner!

The end was predicted 3 years before it happened, our beloved captain and kaner, and most of the era of cup is gone, they gave us happiness, they have us 3 cups, and now it’s time for the new blood to carry on the legacy left behind by these talented young men. There will never be another Kaner another Tazer. One day those numbers will be lifted to the rafters alongside Stan Makita and Pierre Pilote and other legends who’ve had their numbers retired. Two of the greatest players to ever don the red white and black. We did it boys, we made it all the way there 3 times and we will never forget.

Toews got fatigued from lifting all those Stanley Cups over all those years. That’s the way to do it.

This video taught me that life is about making a difference to the world, and changing it to make it better and more enjoyable, even if it’s just working with a small franchise or business, it can still really help make an impact on the world, and a city!

It’s funny because they are polar opposites. Toews is serious and quick to the point which reflects his play style on both ends of the ice, and Kane is flashy and fun. Yet, somehow they are perfect together even though they are completely opposite of each other.
