Sports bars are found here in Pattaya, but what makes a bar stand out from the rest when it comes to sports coverage? Darren, owner of the Pattaya based I-Rovers Sports Bar confidently says "if it is on TV, then we will show it no matter what!".
As far as Pattaya bars are concerned, and in fairness, the I-Rovers Sports bar really is up there and genuinely does cover every sporting event!

i would have not known about I-Rovers without having watched some of your videos. This sounds like "the place" where I will be planting myself down, more often than not, to eat some good food and watch sports (NFL, NCAA Football, and UFC). I hope to catch some soccer and rugby matches as well, as I've never seen those with you nutty (smile) crazies from across both ponds. Continued success to Darren! Looking forward to meeting him this fall....

2003 coming back from iraq, I spent a few days with the New South Wales rugby team during their “State of origin”. Coach Gould, Andrew Johns and the whole team was a blast to be around. Great times. IROVERs was my go to while partying at Billabongs...food was delicious, hot and served by a cutie with a smile. Great price. Can’t wait to get back there. Great interview

I talked to the team, had dinner with them and actually rode the bus into the stadium with them for game two....locker room access, stadium tour and even did the victory lap with them. Very special I’ll be sure to look for you on the next visit Great place great food great atmosphere all at a great price. IRovers for the win 🍻🍔🍳🍕

I really truly love I-Rovers. Its a great place with great hospitality. The girls are nice and the food is yummy. I always like to stay a few days at the I-Rovers during my Pattaya adventures.

Great interview, i love this bar, always go for breakfast and sometimes evening meal, the food is superb with my favs being the indian curry, best indian curry in a bar ever and that is including UK pubs, another one was the aussie steak which was to die for. Also this is my go to bar for the UK prem football but i do still go for the good atmosphere with the aussie sports on, the banter is great and everyone gets on with each other. I do tend to keep to myself but you get involved with whoever is near you and the staff makes you feel welcome and on hand if you need anything, long post sorry but hey had to be said :-)

Another brilliant interview Trev, loving these , very informative. Never had a bad meal in irovers, service is exceptional and the service staff are far too cute! . The iRovers Burger is a damn good burger and a good feed, washed down with an ice cold Singha or three , watching the footy on the TV is my idea of a relaxing time and makes part of a good holiday, and this is the best bar on the LK to do it in, by far. Not sure if you mentioned it but iRovers is a "no hassle" bar where you get no problems from street sellers, no girls or freelancers hitting on you and no hassle whatsoever with your service, bill, food or drinks. Arsenal? well, my mate is a fireman and he told me this: Fire brigade phones Arsene Wenger in the early hours of Sunday morning... "Mr Wenger sir, Highbury is on fire!" "The cups man! Save the cups!" replies Arsene. "Uh, the fire hasn't spread to the canteen yet, sir." Thank Darren for his reply earlier, top bloke.I hope Darren isn't gonna be too upset when we win the ashes though, lol. Trev, you need a "wall of quotes" from the guys you interview about coming to Pattaya for the first time.

Brilliant bar i stayed there food was great and staff always were nice n friendly and in a good place i was above main door noise never really bothered me and its good sitting on balcony watching whats going on in lk 🙂

I've been to Pattaya twice and both times I missed going to I-Rovers. It always looked crazy busy. Add to that, I'm not a huge sports fan, and will only watch the occasional world cup of whatever. I will make it a point to visit I-Rovers for the food, which looks awesome!

Interesting how many different sports you all want. I’ll guarantee if it’s on television somewhere, they will get it. Thanks for the semi finals of the frisbee golf, guys. I was lucky to get a seat. A great joint. Food is A grade even without the dimmies and the staff are as switched on as anywhere in the town. They don’t gouge you if you buy a lady drink and the girls do not not hustle. It’s my home from home. The three owners in Darren Gaz and the Doc are three of the best blokes in the town. Support them so they can support us when the times come good again. Got the starting blocks ready guys. Just need Scotty from marketing to swing the doors open.

Trevor enjoy I-Rover very much. Stayed upstairs a couple of times guys always been very helpful trying to get you a room. Midday breakfast is always the way to start a day. Great interview Trev I now know why Darren is such a top bloke apart from being an Aussie😀. The "Gong" as he called it has some beautiful coast line, beaches and fishing with a backdrop of mountain escarpments and wild forested areas. I have been there often for work and fun. I've had a breakfast or 2 in I-Rovers in the past but never knew it was owned by an Aussie, I will definitely be going there next time in Pattaya.

Been there many times to watch sports. Have breakfast, meet up with friends. Etc. I like the place because - locstion, good food, cold beers, all at good prices, sports and the Air Con on hot days, to beat the heat.

Been to I-rover quite a few times with my wife and friends. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. The food is very good and awesome breakfasts. Look forward to greeting back there once ScoMo let’s us out of the country again! 😏😏

You pretty much had me at Arsenal, UFC, food and girls hahaha A huge chunk of my time in Thailand is in Phuket but I'm in Pattaya 2 or 3 times a year usually to just party a little and chill out. I don't really go bar hopping much but I will drop by this place the next time I'm there.

Great interview again! Darren was very engaging and seems very passionate about i rovers......I will pop in when I’m back and I hope the breakfast is better than under the shifty fella who owned it before! Bit of a shame really, I almost always stay in Areca Lodge so I rovers is across the road, had 1 bad breakfast there and have never been back since.....

Been watching a lot of the shows really enjoying them and missing Pattaya, which I have been going to every Christmas the last 8 or 9 years.
