The lack of Snatcher is a crime. I wish Konami would let that one out of the vault. Pretty much the crown jewel of rare sega CD games and it'd be great to have some kind of official release.

Besides the Lunar RPGs and Popful Mail being MIA, Konami couldn't add Snatcher or Rocket Knight Adventures in this thing? The latter has ZERO licensing issues and is one of the best action games on the platform (and of that generation) It really should've been included here.

Ranger-X and Crusader of Centy have been in licensing purgatory forever, so it's great to see those finally sorted out. The Japanese Mini 2 has a bunch of licensed anime stuff, so they really went the extra mile there. They also took an old quiz game and updated it with all new modern questions. The English Mini 2 has way less curveballs in comparison, but it's still a solid lineup nonetheless.

A much more interesting games list than the original, imo. Very happy with this.

Great to see the Rolling Thunder 2 love! One of my favourite Mega Drive games as a kid.

Yeah I wish they would've put a little more in on the Sega CD side of things (especially with Sega CD titles being one of the main selling points), but overall it's still a pretty solid little system I'd be happy to own and enjoy for what it is.

Some bangers on this model 2 mini, Crusader of Centy, Lightening Force, Ristar, Truxton, Shining Force II, Sonic CD, Hereog Zwei & Final Fight to name a few but model 1 had more must haves IMO. Odd some older games made model 2 mini and newer games made the model 1 mini, sort of a flip flop. Glad there’s more SHUMPS this go and SoR 3 is actually a great game, definitely underrated. Figured Working Design game translations like Luner series & Popful Mail would be difficult to license. Snatcher was something I had high hopes because Konami’s Contra & CastleVania made it on the model 1. Perhaps MGS is an issue with this or SONY on the building during the start of the games scene. Its a definite preorder for me regardless and I’m grateful Sega made this happen especially with the shortages that still plague supply chains.

Happy to hear Ian likes 3D Blast. atleast the Saturn version^^ I understand why it gets shit onn but it's still a fun game to me. I played it endlessly on Mega Collection for the Cube. and turns out it was the Genesis version.. years later I found out they made a Saturn version WITH a different OST made by Richard J. the man behind The beautiful Sonic R OST. ♡

Solid lineup but I think they missed out on omitting Snatcher, Popful Mail, and the Lunar games since they're including Sega CD games now. Those are some heavy hitters for CD titles.

I really hoped they were going to finally include Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder since it's never gotten a proper console release. That is a stellar game and my favorite in the series.

Without Snatcher they could have included Lords of Thunder for Sega CD. That game ROCKS.

They've not advertised it well, but the super scalers all have enhanced versions, presumably using the scaler chip in the cd 😀

I was worried that this was going to be a double dipping release, so I'm quite happy to see that's not the case.

Already have mine preordered. I think ppl wanted Snatcher, Popful Mail, and the Lunars. Good enough value to buy, better value once can add games too. :)

I'm disappointed because they cut the Lunar games and Popful Mail from the western release and are making the system itself an import-only release.

Super excited for Crusader of Centy

Biggest problem is the lack of Sega CD games. Not having the Working Designs releases or Snatcher is a big miss. Keio Flying Squadron should have been a cheap license too but sadly not present.

Ninja Warrior is a wee bit more advanced than Kung Fu. You're a robot. And when you take damage parts of your body become exposed. Very large sprites. Solid game play. Ask Jonny Millineum about it lol.
