i looooved this trilogy. my only complaint is that I feel like ziggy should’ve been the one to kill nick bc of their history, or at least had more of a confrontation

IM SO EXCITED TO SEE YOUR REACTION! I am not ashamed to say I sobbed like a bitch during this movie today! I was holding it together well enough until they revealed it was the friends who created and left the "The Witch Forever Lives" stone and I immediately broke down into tears sobbing lmao. They really made a movie about a teen lesbian couple not only breaking a supernatural generational curse from the devil, but also breaking the generational curse of their small town's puritanical homophobia. Sarah Fier is my favourite character and Deena paying tribute to her when she gets back to the present means so much to me omfl. 😭😩✊️ RIP Sarah Fier: The First Shadysider. I require all the fan edits of her heroism and badassness right now. She didn't let up for 300 years and she got justice.

These movies were spectacular. I honestly don't understand why either of these characters has gotten so much shit. It's like no on has ever heard of a character arc. It would be so much less interesting if the main characters just started the first movie as fully actualized, totally stable human beings. I loved that both Sam and Deena had an emotional journey that wasn't related to questioning their sexuality, which you almost never get with queer characters. Deena started off super angry, which was a cover for the fact that she had no self-esteem. She couldn't imagine a way for her life to be better than what she grew up around so she lashed out. Yeah she was shitty to Sam at the start because the absolute worst thing you can do as a person with no self-esteem is to date someone who's in the closet. She saw Sam not wanting to tell anyone about their relationship as further proof that she was a shitty person who was going to have a shitty life so obviously Sam would be ashamed of her. On the other hand, Sam's fear had nothing to do with Deena and was just her wanting to have a better life but not being able to reconcile that with the possibility that she could have it without conforming to the stereotypes being pushed by the people around her and society at large. Then by the end Deena was able to realize that she and everyone in Shadyside deserved way better and their lives were shit because society sucks and not because they were bad people and Sam was able to realize that the better life she wanted couldn't exist without her being true to herself. By the time they truly got back together, they had both taken steps on their own to become people that could have a healthy relationship. The fact that all of that happened in a campy slasher trilogy is really mind blowing.

I confess the scene of Sarah Fier's death made me cry. This sequel is stunning and considered the best of the Fear Street trilogy. It's outstanding.

When they put the blood on killers I was so happy. The one thing I predicted came true.

Can we talk about the theory that the Red Moss represented Hannah and Sarah's love for eachother and if you remember it was the only thing that stained the perfect image Cindy built up for herself to pretend she was this "ideal" and well-behaved girl, because no matter how hard she tried to be this flawless girl with her perfect boyfriend she was still a lesbian

This movie gave me goosebumps and made me cry at the same time especially the Sarah's hanging scene and Hannah losing it and grieving alone while everyone else left the place like a deserted island...then her friends coming back and burying her in a safe place that only they know...those scenes made me so emotional and sobby ...and the scene where real Sarah Fier stating about her truth and how she cursed Solomon goode and her ancestors gave me such a goosebumps.. especially with that bgm during the scene..I repeated that scene multiple times...we need more Queer movies like this with different genres other than sad breakup story or rom com ones... queer movies in Horror genre in mainstream media has always been my dream..I'm so glad this has become a reality... hopefully there will be more mainstream queer movies in Horror genre.

Fear Street is official in my top 5 trilogies.

It kind of sucks every single generation of Goode had the Solomon’s mindset but it does makes sense they’d choose if they can get everything they want. I loved Nick and Ziggy’s relationship and it would’ve been nice to see Nick go through with not wanting to be what his father wanted but they averted from that cliche.

I loved young Ziggy! She was definitely my favorite character. And I hope they make these into a series. There are so many cases to explore, like each episode could be a murder case (there are over 300 years of history, at least one per decade -so about 30, although idk bc we didn't see an 80s one) and maybe they finish it years in the future with another movie set in the present day where they finally burn that book.
