I've decided to throw out my anti-depressant medication and simply bookmark this VID! I cannot imagine a more uplifting 2 minutes & 39 seconds anywhere. I can only hope that Paul keeps going for another 100 years because as far as I'm concerned ~ he's our world's trump card when it comes to musical entertainment. So much fun.

The most impressive part of this video besides Paul, is the age variance of people in the audience. Just goes to show, The Beatles will never die..as long as the music still plays.
@ThePassionOfTheMarc9 жыл бұрын
Every time I watch parts of this concert here on KZfaq, I'm always amazed at the age group in the audience, from 4 to 70. If that's not recognition I don't know what is.
@jamesdunn97144 жыл бұрын
So much different than the teenagers The Beatles drew in the early days. Of course some of those teens are now in the audience and are grannies.

Young kids (just like 1964) screaming for Sir Paul. Brings back many memories. Rock on Paul.

This is one of my favourite Beatles songs. That bass line is sublime! And the corda in the original recording? What dreams are made of!

imagine being 14 when this song came out in 1967...as I was then! Yes, the whole world was frozen in time when the Beatles came into being. Beatlemania, as it was called then, left us not knowing who we even are. Minds blown. Nothing we'd ever seen. We didn't know what to do with it.

What a feeling it is seeing all age groups signing, smiling, shouting, and crying. Go's to show how relevant Sir Paul McCartney still is.

I believe this was the first song to kick-off the concert of the night. It’s an explosive start, best choice of the song.

A substantial number of attendees weren't even born when this song popular. This shows us just how appealing classic, and creative rock can be, how lasting of a sound it has. McCartney is the Mozart/Beethoven of rock.

Can't believe I'm going to see Paul in less than 20 days! It's a gift from God to me. I always liked The Beatles but this year I became a real beatlemaniac, and this year, i'm gonna see my fav Beatle! AM I DREAMING? Is it reality? I'm sooo happy :) ROLL UP!

What a fantastic band. Truly world class. This comment comes from a former member of the Philadelphia Orchestra. McCartney shows his remarkable musical standards and his group plays with amazing consistency with no detail overlooked.

Paul Mc Cartney is a living god. I was there before the Beatles, When they came, the sky exploded, as a 9 yr old it was epic to behold. Elvis was big but the Beatles blew him and evreryone else away, I only wish people now adays could witness an atomic bomb on the music culture like the Beatles. I thank God for letting me be a little one when the Beatles came, it was magic on a whole new level

After all these years the song sounds as if it had been written just yesterday or today. Absolutely timeless.

Unbelievable....how the sound is reproduced from the 1968 song. And how good, strong and fresh it sounds from the live performance of his contemporary band, almost 40 years later. This music/timeless. Way to blow away the audience by opening the concert with this 1. I love the the reaction of both the older and younger generation fans.

In his concert, he doesn't need gorgeous chorus girls, flashy costume or even glaring stage effects. All he shows us is music, just songs. It's quite simple, still he can give us an unforgettable time and make us blissfully happy. That is really something. I don't think other musicians can do the same thing.

What most (All) young people will never be able to comprehend is that on top of all of the artistry, when he (They) came along they changed EVERYTHING. Society itself changed using them as a catalyst. They are, and will be, forever unmatched in every way.

He has a pre-show audio/visual that he runs before each concert (at least before the ones I saw in '76, 90. and 93) that builds the tension up to such a level that you think you're going to jump out of your skin and then KA-BOOOOM! THIS!!!! In addition to everything else, he's the ultimate show man. Its what a Rock concert should be (all of your favorate tunes with the added umph of live)!

The best thing about this VID is the cross section of the audience. I was 17 when the Beatles 1st appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in February of 1964 and if I'd been at this concert I swear I'd have been going out of my mind! You've got fans in this VID from 8 years old to 80 years old and ~ one and all ~ they knew at that moment in their lives they were watching a performer singing a song from a group that will never ever ever come again. I was SO lucky to have grown up with The Beatles!!!!

You know the folks in the audience my age ..well there is an understanding, a bond I feel with them enjoying these great memories. But this is such greatness, McCartney is just awesome, always has been, to see young people and kids faces proves how great this music is. I think and hope years from now those kids will see that look in the new generations faces when they enjoy this experience.

i saw him in Omaha, NE in october of 2005. and just as Speyrer said, he was incredible. There was no admission and he played 3 encore songs as well.
