It is interesting to see the audience reactions to Paul the couples especially. There is a lot of affection between them and memories associated with the music. "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make".

Rusty said he used to dream every night (ever since he was 5 yrs. old ) that the Beatles would come to his door & ask him to jam. & then He said, "& now here I am on stage & touring the wourld w Sir Paul." Look how happy he is :) Dreams really do come true!

The really amazing thing is how these 20-year olds, from a Liverpool so distant from the bolero birthplace, Cuba, with no direct influence, managed to incarnate the exact sound and feel of a Cuban trio. And this after listening to the Peggy Lee version, which although somewhat "latinized" is light-years away from what the Beatles managed to do. Magic? Talent? Capacity to absorb from any stye? By the truckload! As to Rusty´s solo, yes, it is not note for note and I would always always play it like he original, but it is very respectful and close to the original. A couple extra rhythmic strums here and there but in very good taste. After all, if you listen and compare the Beatles recorded version with the live video in this section, George himself changed not the notes, but the tempo of his own solo.

This old 1957 song written by Meredith Willson is the first song I learned to sing and play in early 1964, when I saw McCartney sing it on TV on the Ed Sullivan Show on a Sunday night. I knew this is what I wanted to do for a living.

Obviously Paul loved this song ever since he recorded it in 1963. The song dates back to 1950; later used in the Music Man on Broadway; been covered by many greats; and still terribly sweet!

Among the four members of Beatles, Paul MaCartney was the most enticing song writer. He has a great and sweet melody.

Till There Was You was an old standard when the Beatles recorded it. It was one of Paul's favourites that he remembered hearing at home. Beautiful song, beautifully sung by my favourite Beatle.

There were bells on a hill But I never heard them ringing No, I never heard them at all Till there was you There were birds in the sky But I never saw them winging No, I never saw them at all Till there was you Then there was music and wonderful roses They tell me in sweet fragrant meadows Of dawn and dew There was love all around But I never heard it singing No, I never heard it at all Till there was you Then there was music and wonderful roses They tell me in sweet fragrant meadows Of dawn and dew There was love all around But I never heard it singing No, I never heard it at all Till there was you Till there was you

I had the "meet the beatles" record (was my brothers) when I was like 6, knew all the words to all the songs. The family was driving in the car one day and this song came on the radio (77 WABC). I sang all the way thru and when the song ended my mother turned to me and said " Too bad you don't your arithmetic like that!" I still have that old, scratched up album without the cover.
