It’s great to hear a genuine and authentic conversation with an entrepreneur who is so humble about his success and built a fashion brand where quality and individuality is key. He isn’t interested in just having a global brand. The value is in the quality and service and individual choice. We should celebrate his hands on approach to his customers which is as important today as it was when he set up.

Yes....this is the best interview (conversation) I've heard on your podcast. As a business owner myself (of 20 years), I always (and still do) feel that I'm not enough. Then comes Paul Smith. He's the closest I've ever come to mirroring someone like me. Non confrontational, decent, kind, attentive, thoughful....believes in slow incremental growth, not carrying debt in the business, doing thigs the right way......all the things I was told are a weakness in me. Thank you Paul. All I would ask is for to re-invite him back and ask him more in-depth about how he grew his business. I'd love for this story to continue

Absolutely one of the best interviews, so incredibly refreshing. His humility, his genuine interest in life and also an incredible story, building a business on his terms and still in business and successful.

Bloody brilliant. I was lucky enough to meet Paul when he came to a Ferrari launch event at the Grand Prix museum at Donington Park, back in the early 2000's. He was humble and curious about design. A brilliant and underrated human being.

My first ever 'large' clothes purchase was from the Floral Street shop. 1987, Classic Loafers, individual shoe bags (Never knew they existed before!!!). Never forgotten the experience and been a fan ever since

What a great chat! Nice to have somebody on that is so down to earth even with all his success. Watching this and hearing his values makes me want to go and support his business and add to the belt that I was given by a ex city player for the FA cup final!

All the biggest podcasts and KZfaq channels always ask people to subscribe. It’s important to help any channel to build. Look at the Diary of a CEO. Steven asks in every single interview. They have 5.5million subscribers. High Performance has great guests and deserves to grow its audience via asking people to subscribe. It takes a second of someone’s time and doesn’t cost anything. They ask for totally legitimate reasons and they deserve to grow.
