Could well be. The difference between him and the other Greats-Dylan, Sir Paul,Costello is it sounds like them no matter how good it is, in whatever Genre. But with Paul Weller, The Jam didn't sound anything The Style Council, which doesn't sound at all like his solo career.

Nice to hear Weller going back to a bit of a rock sound. Last few albums have been a bit too hard to get into for me. Too abstract

What did the guy in the audience say to him? I couldn't make it out. Whatever it was, he wasn't happy - and that's acknowledging that he's mardy most of the time anyway! 🤣
