This was a hugely valuable reflection that will forever change how I read the scriptures about food. In addition to running after sin, we run after many good things to fill us --including the ministry and impact we want to have for the Lord...hoping that we can add something to Him, but if we are not feasting on Him and working in His strength, it is in vain. God help us! Thankfully Jesus 'emptied Himself' and lived the perfect life for us!
