Pueblo is probably my favourite song but there are so many great ones to choose from. This was the first Pavement album I listened to and I'm so thankful I did. It's been a decade long love affair with the band's music ever since.

Wowee Zowee is may favourite album

Holy Shit, critics were saying that??!? Damn, am I glad I don't pay attention. Wowee Zowie was the first album that came out after I discovered Pavement. For me, that album confirmed that yes, I have discovered one of the very few truly great rock bands. I saw that tour and was blown away, and I'll see them this fall, God willing.

Lewis Largent was saying that shit on 120 minutes and unlike the more linear commercial albums, Wowee Zowee just goes everywhere. Father of a Sister of Thought goes alt-country, Brinx Job is scream rock, Flux Rad drives hard, Western Homes is something like electro-rock. If anything you guys seemed like you were trying to give a taste of all mid 90's rock in one album and most critics had listened to too much 311, Rancid, and Everclear (where every song sounds like the previous one) to pick up on it.
