No progression system is not a con / negative. It is a pro / positive strength of the game where you can just step in and play any mode, use any gun, with any attachment. This game is obsessed with weapon details and realism and your progression is tied to you learning how to use each weapon and get better at the game. Aside that, which I realize is a subjective difference of opinion, great review. This game is a lot of fun.

Great review, and maybe the best value PSVR2 game right now. I can see myself dipping in and out of this game for a while to come. My one criticism is the tutorial can only go so far. For instance, there's nothing in game to tell you what all the roles do in TTT, what they are, how to use all those gadgets, what they are for, etc. Or how they can be an asset to one side or the other. It's all learned through word of mouth, searching the web & trial by error. These modes have gotten added over time to the pc version.

Great review but here are my issues. Pop in is more than once in a great while and happen on even small boards. Hit detection especially up close is poor. You will shoot someone point blank in center mass and it will not register at all. Spawns are crazy bad. You will spawn right infront of a whole team then respawn there twice more getting slaughtered immediately. The game is fun. Very fun. Once this goes cross play it will be hard to argue against getting it especially at cost. A few patches and this will be a great value but fix the hit detection And spawning.

Love this game. Most fun I've had playing VR since my first PSVR experience in 2019, and the PSVR2 community on the game has generally been super fun, rarely have seen a lot of rude people. Will be playing this one for a *long* time

It honestly was a little weird for me. The transition from pcvr pavlov to psvr2 pavlov but after a couple plays I love pavlov all over again. I've had more fun in the past week than I've had in a long time in that game.

Like others said, it is also for me the most fun I had in vr. What I like it is that you can play it "Cod style" or "SWAT style" . What I mean by "SWAT style" it is that you can apply real life tactics in the way you clear rooms, the way you shoot, reload, cover etc. A lot of fun and replayability. Just wish there was the modded modes and maps from pc (didn't see any in the server list yet ). And for finish great review as always !

This turned out to be my favourite PSVR 2 title so far. The TTT mode is just hilarious and many times I've had to remove the headset from tears of laughter making everything blurry.

Biggest plus for this game is the tracking. It works so absolutely well making you feel like you're really inside that world. All the other games I play had wonky tracking compared to this, or lower graphics, or unrealistic relative size of surroundings. It really is the best game on PSVR2

Played pavlov more than anything else yet on pvsr2, its lots of fun. Though think the game would be better if more maps had set sides for spawning in team deathmatch, and it would be nice if the programming was smart enough to not spawn people (in any game mode) where people are looking and waiting. Ive been killed instantly after spawning many times and have smoked several others when they spawn in and it always feels like a cheap kill. The maps are big enough that they could have way more spawn points to avoid this.

Does it have matchmaking with randoms?

Any feedback on prescription lenses with PSVR2? I am considering Hons or VR Optician. How clear is the image? Do you slide the lens on? Any issues with eye tracking? How long to deliver? I am getting me prescription updated this week ... had PSVR2 day 1 but haven't opened the box. Have been waiting to get prescription lenses.

This game is the best online shooter i ever played. The people are awesome particulary if you disable the crossplay with pc. The voice chat and specially the hand gestures are hilarious yet immersive. After small learning curve with weapons and finding your favorite weapon every1 can be decent player in pavlov. Even me im so proud i was #1 of the winning team of TDM today i had 2 superb matches. 45 kills 30 deaths. There are so many funny and memorable moments and the gunplay in vr2 is just so rewarding. 100x better than controller. And pavlov dont have crouch button so you need to get down on floor yourself. Today i literally sat behind a sandbag or something like that and it was an excellent trap at the bridge i was hugging floor. I usually have stiff back but "pranks" like these get the best out of me. Killed many enemies like that. The rifle with medium scope that cost like 2300 is the best one. Today i dropped it 2 times and both times my team member stole it and didnt give it back :d. Also the hand gestures when i played infection and i was the monster and teamed with other monstet player and the gestures were awesome. I did this hands on side shrug like showing i dont know what to do here(my first infecgion match and map) and he start doing these comedic hand gestures how i go up the stairs etc. Also the hand signals when you accidentally shoot your team mate are hilarious. Cant believe how much better psvr2 is than playinh with flat tv and controller. Ofc i enjoy games like dead island 2 and Elden ring still but VR is where im the happiest and most emgaged.

Hey I need some help so I just bought Pavlov and psvr2 and for some reason it only lets me point and click and not move with the joysticks so I figured I just needed to learn the game in the tutorial but I go to the tutorial and it tells me to sprint but the sprint was not working for some reason either do I couldent make it passed even that pls is there some setting I need to enable or something plz somone help I get that I just got this thing so there is a learning curv but all the let’s plays on the same setup seemed to just work I dident see them mess with any settings or anything pls sos

My one complaint about Pavlov is the lack of a crouch button. I'd love to play seated, because I can't stand for long periods of time on account of my arthritis... so if I play I'm either perma crouched or in a lot of pain standing for long periods. But that aside I always have a blast when I play.

The game is great but I really hope the rumours are true and the workshop comes to psvr2 where you can play custom maps like the PC version. If it does then I think games like firewall and Alvo might have a hard time pulling players back to them

One of the only issues I have is with your own footstep audio. The audio moves places as you turn your head which makes it harder to tel if it's your own steps or someone else's at times... it isnt just me right? Anyone else find this?

Why isn't mine launched yet?

It released later in Scandinavia. So when I got the game I already felt like I was way below everyone else in terms of skill. I kept getting stomped whatever I played, this is after I practiced for hours in the shooting range and against a friend. I had crossplay disabled as well. Haven't booted it up since.

I love the no progress XP deal. It means you can use all weapons from the start & someone who has been playing longer has no advantage in weapons because all because they unlocked better weapons. This game needs multiplayer target range so you can have competitions with others. OmegaBergs

Since last week my latency has been horrible on 1 gigabit fiber optic. PS5 gets around 160-250 mbps wifi. All was good previously, now I am hitting 200+ ms ping on average. Low as 88, but jumps up every few seconds. Can't even reload, anyone else have this issue?

Tho it's abit repetitive. Lack of modes/maps. If you get a good group going, this is top 3 VR games. The problem is lack of everything. It feels like more a beta play test than a full release. The lack of alot of basic features. But its a great game specially for its price tag.

Don't you have an issue with finding lobby? I still didn't have chance to play zombie coop online, there also 1-2 lobbies with gun game which usually are full, join to any game is a huge success

I prefer no xp. Its all fun and skills. Counter strike is the most popular shooter ever on pc and there was no xp.

TTT is the best mode by far! BUT it can also be the worst when the lobby is full of bro bros and safe spacers always askin if you mad bro? Aim assist seems so be a thing too, magical headshots I know Im not making happen often in 1v1 encounters.
