Definitely loving the progression system even though I was still playing the game anyway👍 but I would love more player interaction and more voice lines to get players to understand me more. There isn't enough interaction or dialogue between the heisters like the first game and I was honestly hoping for😞 it was really unique and it made all the characters have a little bit more character depth that's how they handled different scenarios. I hope that they do a QoL update and just make a bunch of miscellaneous but also noticeable details

I started playing payday 3 again and I actually is finding myself quite enjoying it now so I would say now is actually a good time to just hop in and play the game in my humble opinion

Really sucks that the armor penetration from "cutting shot" got basically destroyed to a situational 30 second buff, not because it made strong weapons 3 shot dozers, but because it made more weaker weapons feel viable in Overkill difficulty, giving more variety to the player's arsenal, i really miss being able to 1 tap heads with the Ak or Car-4 or finally using other secondaries that weren't the revolvers in loud. I don't really enjoy using the Scar or the SG ;-;

Why is no one talking about PlayStation having such a horrible performance that the game becomes unplayable? Interactions and simply shooting enemies has become a roll of a dice. Sometimes it works and sometimes you are left shooting a invisible wall and not being able to pick up a armor plate that's right in front of you.

I like the update, but in all honesty, the game just feels so different now. Because cutting shot got moved to the ammo bag, I can't rely on weapons like the CAR-4 anymore. It's way too weak on OVK, even with edge active. I went back to using the VF-7S and bizon like I did at the start of PD3. Not that it is 100% useless, but I'm running out of ammo so quickly with it. I don't like the VF-7S, I don't want to use the SA-A144 with a 5-6x magnifying scope. But to compete on OVK difficulty it feels like I have to. The thing that makes me feel a bit melancholic is the insane new IP gain. It feels like I'm cheating in a game that I find hard, basically. I grinded to renown 41 since I've reached level 150 about a few weeks ago. Now that the update has dropped, I got to 83 in a single day. Not level 83, renown 83. My inventory is filled with dyes. Normally it'd feel like an achievement, but it really doesn't anymore. I was so proud of myself of finally getting the dark-blue blocky texture 2x and blocky black 2x to create my dream CAR-4 syntax error-based gun skin. I've been grinding for so long for it. Now nothing feels like endgame anymore. Grinding renowns isn't special, it's like mid-game activity with an endgame missing. I don't even mean it in a gatekeeping way, good for new players that they can level up faster. I just feel like there's nothing to do anymore and nothing to keep myself busy. Gaining IP this fast feels like I'm abusing a glitch. I was initially really excited for assassin, but it's way too unreliable because the health gain only works when you don't have armor, making every interaction a health - damage tradeoff. You can't shoot until an enemy is marked, and hope that you can make the break-even at the very least. Crew mates "stealing" your kills also guts this build. It requires such an investment to make it work. I'll still look out for boys in blue, the content drought gets to painfully obvious later on. I hope SBZ can pull themselves out of this mess.

I can't agree with most of the comments here. You are talking about the update and hype it as it brought new maps, weapons and other stuff like that. The challenge system was one point to play it every day to finish all of them and it took hours over hours. Now lvl150 can be reached in less than one week and in a few days everybody got it. So it's nothing special anymore. And what to do now after the grind to max level? It became so boring now cause you can't do anything interesting with all the money and xp 150+. To be honest you just killed the game and everybody who still celebrate the update, wait 2 more days till you reach lvl150 and then you are gone as well.
