With the daily active players growing, to payload being brought back, I think paladins will make a comeback this year. I’m REALLY hoping that this game gets saved

Balance so far is really questionable Andro no longer have cursed revolver but have dark stalker but it's the wrong one. People want the talent that have seperate dash. Furia getting heal nerf is yikes. She is strong, but we'll see Pip getting damage nerf. WHY. He's not even strong. At least grover can see his own radius and deep roots healing aura now works on first enemy

I bet the reason pip got a indirect nerf to his ult is because the devs were sick of seeing pips who are randomly high leveled solo ult someone who's trying to kill them in a 1v1

I think Nyx's shield should quickly advance forward depending on how far you want to place it, that way her 2nd talent doesn't rely so much on an enemy moving through it when you can force them to go through it yourself

I'm pretty sure that Nyx has been teased before Ramattra and it just seems like as soon as hi-rez saw ramattra they just decided to do their own spin on him. Kind of annoying since I thought she would've been more original.

She actually feels like a point tank, to the point (heh) that she gets more healing on point. So...you got what you asked for.

I think nyx will become a pretty solid.. I think I see what they are going for with her abilities and can see how they can be used to control the fight while your allies pew pew and you just don't die

Re-mounting should only apply at a certain distance from payload. Possible a 150-ish distance. So if you get hit by a stray bullet when leaving spawn you can still mount back on to get back into the fight, but once you're in the fight for point, it's disabled.

I started crying when i read that payload is coming back. All the memories and stuff that happend there. i've grew up with paladins and when they removed payload i almost left paladins but i kept playing hoping that someday they will add it back and that day has come. Im so thankful for bringing it back and i cant wait to play ONLY this mode ❤

Im very excited for payload, I heard vet players talk about how good it was and wish I was there but when I got to then end something hit me. If you go into the files or wiki for paladins, most new champs had voice lines that seemed like they were for payload or some weird siege mode. It always bothered me bc I never knew what it was but maybe they were planning to bring it back, its just took them way too long. Still dont know what it was but maybe that was a sign, we just didnt know when. I'm very excited for this new patch and I hope it makes me want to play the game again bc I believe in this game. To a fresh new season for Paladins 🍷

It would be nice if they allowed us to choose different voice packs with different skins

In World of Warcraft, the Monk class's tank spec had something similar to Nyx's damage distribution called Stagger.

Solar blessing should create an mid range area aura Around the beam that gives the actual heals in that aura. Aura is halfed range of Mal'Damba's gourd range, for Example.

Remounting used to be a thing a very, very long time ago. It had an animation and wind up so you couldn't just instantly bind onto a horse.

8:00 on this koga skin, one of my least favorite parts about playing them was the suppressors taking up so much of your field of view. Nice to see a skin without them. I'm sure there are others without them, but Koga is my least played champ, so I wouldn't know xd

I mean they might be adding the remount to prepare for a potential new gamemode, like a racing gamemode where the players can actually win crystals and loot but said gamemode is only available during certain events.

I feel like the remounting feature got implemented because they're bringing back payload. I can't imagine the pain of getting hit by a stray bullet or accidentally dismounting yourself on such long maps. Though as a side-effect it also got into regular siege which is going to make master riding INCREDIBLY good. I'd argue that it's even going to become the "new" cauterize where you'll be put at severe disadvantage if you don't buy it. Maxed out master riding is able to get you to the objective on most maps in just a couple of seconds and it was already a worthwhile purchase just for that. Now that you'll be able to move around the map all the time with it and dismounting is not as punishing anymore the fights will last longer and it will be harder to take control of the map since you esentially get faster respawn timers in a sense. As for the balance changes they seem extremely out of touch. Basically everything that wasn't a problem got nerfed for some reason and Pip won't be able to kill a chicken by himself anymore and that means he's basically been made into a helpless healbot who can't put up much of a fight. Even if you want to cope with catalyst it's simply not worth it and you're better off using Grohk for example if you want a good dps support. It feels like the devs made these changes for the sake of just making some changes and they didn't put much thought into it. Either that or it's one of these dumb "two-part changes" where they nerf a champion in one patch and then give compensation in the next one which is equally as dumb.

Nyx opinions: I think the golden skin is great, just the lighting in the champion viewer makes it look really shiny and bright. I think it'll look miles better in game. Also another hot take; if you are not sure of the champ balance, it's way better to release stuff UP instead of azaan or yag state. You can buff up UP champs later but yags and azaans will immediately kill a patch(es) until they are fixed.

Do you think that they let us use mounts mid-game, so we can see the skins? Since they removed third-view, skins are only visible at the start of a match. Third-view gameplay might give an advantage in-game, but using a mount doesn't give the same advantage and keeps players happy.

Ive been waiting for payload for years i might come back to paladins to give it a whirl again.

I have been convinced for a while that someone in Evil Mojo geniuely hates Pip. Like finally now he got a Epic skin thats actually him after 6 years. Thats even locked behind a ranked wall. As a last jab they nerfed him and killed one of his most used combos.

She needs piercing for sure and a little more damage. If she's going to be a tank it needs to be dangerous for a flank to get close to her

If I was to change some aspects of Nyx it would only be to her talents & design. Replace her Subjugation talent with one that gives temporary liferip or temp health for completing auto attack chains. Show of Force talent I would give it the same effect as a Doomfist punch or an Io ult without the infinite push back range. Design wise give her some armor instead of a mini skirt. I think Raum's battle pass skin would have been a better fit overall, voice pack included. Nyx's default model, would be better has a Inara skin. Im also not a fan of her voice, she's just Octavia with slightly aggressive tone.

They should have given nyx something flight related because shes bascially like azaan but abyssal, wings and all. And I mean she now has the least amount of mobility in the tank class, even atlas can rewind which could be seen as mobility and inara has a build that let's her boop herself around so even if they had given her a slow descent feature like andro with some cards that let her boop herself with her abilities, it would have been cool but rn it's weird that shes like azaans rival, looks alot like him but can barely move in comparison to every other tank, especially azaan.

The balance changes are minimal I just hope that the new andro talent it's not op but PAYLOAD ITS BACK AND WILL HAVE 3 MAPS
