Love the S&S CP4.2 disaster prevention kit on my 2019 F250. My next mod is the HS upper and lower fuel filter upgrades nice choice and great video.

For the half-dozen farm trucks I work on, I've suggested & we've done disaster prevention kits on every one of them. Other than that, not much. It's hard enough just getting these jokers to not suck an air filter partially up the tube 🤦♂ I've done water pumps, DPF heaters & a rocketship (DPF/SCR pipe) on 1 but all in all, super reliable engine. I do a lot more work to the accessories & electrical than the engine itself. Farmers are terrible to them, high idle times, inconsistent maintenance, you name it. That truck is simply gorgeous! 🤩 if my ex wife looked that good, I'd still be in a horrible marriage.

Had the HSM silicone cold side pipe on my 2015 6.7 and it blew a big hole through the side of the pipe in under a year. The one I had didn't have that red coating inside. I replaced it with the hard version, and it's been good other than blowing off the intercooler a couple times.

All of that all the customer left the factory steps. Should have installed AMP foldable steps to really clean up the truck. Have you ever looked at the SPE CP4.2 Extreme fuel pump?

Have a 2011 f250 6.7, factory. Started to get a death rattle from 70-75mph after bumps on a right curve on freeway. Pretty consistent. If you can go faster it prevents it, hard to do with yahoos on the road on their phones with more important places to go… or it stops after slowing to about 60mph which people absolutely love while your truck is dancing around poppin’ & lockin’ like a 1980’s breakdancer. So… any thoughts… tires balance & rotated… all seals and rubber are completely intact and in good shape under the front.

Got the SS DPK and SB cold air intake already. If you had to pick one mod, Banks diff cover, HS cold pipe, HS hot side pipe, etc. to help pull a 42ft 5th wheel and want to hide the purchase from the wife!

And this is a reminder to me to toss my Airaid intake on my 05 6.0l and get the S&B model. But have also considered making my own plexiglass cover to seal it from getting so much air from the Engine Compartment. And I, sure wish that someone could tell me why my truck makes a clunking/ scraping sound that only occurs when going up a grade and the trucks RPM'S Start dropping and around 60 mph and 1800-1900 RPM'S also seems to have a slight hesitation. I have put in a new BD Diesel 5R110 and their Torque converter. And I, also had the BD Tapshifter Installed so that I, can shift to 4th gear and hold it as long as needed. And that takes care of the Problem or if I,hit the go pedal ahead of it getting to usual point where it happens. So just wanted to know if anyone out there has had this issue or may have an idea of what could be Problem. Or my next step will be going to my local Ford dealership and taking someone for a ride and let them see and hear the noise and how the Truck acts, now that I, moved from Phoenix and to a town where some mountain driving is 20 miles or less away. And thanks for the Great Content that you put out Master Tech ARod ! And this issue started about 5 years ago while traveling through Colorado. And if anyone is interested in a 5R110 Billet Torque Converter built by Hughes transmission in Phoenix and it probably has less than 500 miles of use. Let me know.

Hey Mr rod on your EGR projects have you ever used kroik oil and then take a braising tip on a torch and just heat that bolt up a little bit I think it make your life a little bit more easier I've been a diesel mechanic for over 45 years and I'm retired is it heavy equipment mechanic and I use that stuff a lot of times and the stuff I worked on was a lot of Japanese s*** so we're mixing aluminum with steel and I haven't had a problem if that stuff will eat lead out of a gun barrel he'll take care of that stuff and get that oil down to them end of that Rusty bolt and then use your hammer in pack after the bolt cools down

Just got a 2017 with 205k.. just got an s&s dpk. Before i install that, What else do i "have" to have for longevity? What about performance? Since a lot has to come off for the dpk, i want to get all in one go. Will be changing all fluids and filters.

Why did u avoid the SPE product I personally have SPE and Pusher products on my 2012 f250 and everything works perfect and no matter what product u like every one is having a hard time keeping product on the shelf’s

Just a heads up on that cold air intake I have talked with S&B R&D department, and that cold air intake box will get water in the bottom of it and if it sucks into that cold air intake, you are screwed buddy I told them thank you for their honesty, but I will be looking at another cold air intake just something to think about if you're looking at that one

@@codyphillips48 ohhh been following for long time and I know all about the SPE drama, sucks though. They make some great products and never done me wrong. Only issue was they couldn’t keep up with the demand, but they’ve expanded and are growing to handle the business. Don’t count them out you might be surprised
