Filtered tap water is the way to go for cooling , repurpose the water coming out

Definitely wayyyyy over-kill with the 3 filters. Just remember that smaller compressor like the "yong heng" need to work THAT MUCH HARDER to fill those filters with air 1st... THEN your tank or pcp. With 3 in-line... and that little yong heng, depending on the size of the tank... you will have to start and stop that compressor 3, 4, 5, and even 6 times to fill a 9 cubic foot... and you have atleast a liter worth of space with all 3 of those filters...that must go through this process EVERY TIME you start it back up to finish off a fill! So you are burning up 3 filters worth of internal filters all at once! I have a GX pump 5k-2 double stage, dual motor floor unit. It weighs about 120 lbs and it has an onboard cooling system and it is also air cooled. I put dirtbike "ice coolant" in the tank in my pump. It is alittle bigger than a pc tower and it is super quiet! My dish washer is louder than my compressor. It is the newest model and it has Bluetooth connectivity and it has a double auto shut-off saftey switches. It can fill my 9 cubic foot scba tanks in around 12 to 13 minutes! I can run it while my entire family is in bed ( i dont, but i could lol ), downstairs at night... THATS HOW QUIET and FAST it is. My pcps and smaller carbon fiber bottles fill in under a minute or 2. Anything 1 liter and under only takes a minute or 2! It can fill my 6 cubic foot scba tanks in about 10 minutes and it is stays EXTREMELY cool with that "ice engine" dirtbike antifreeze coolant. It is pricey tho... but you get what you pay for my friend lol. It was around $2000 ( 2k ) and it came with enough extra/spare parts to rebuild it 5 times. I only use 1 of these filters with the 3 element filter and an extra small cotton filter that connects to to the tank as a secondary... and when i take my tanks apart to inspect them after 6 months.. THEY ARE SUPER CLEAN, DRY, WITH ZERO oil and water stains!!! so 3 of these is more than over-kill if you arent scrubbing air for breathing. If i was using air for breathing underwater... i wouldnt do it myself, i would only use air from a scuba shop. Air becomes extremely toxic when you get beyond a certain depth, and that scares the piss out of me if i were to not scrub the air well enough for underwater lol. But thats me.. many people with tons of experience do it themselves with zero issue. Anyways... i strongly SUGGEST GX pumps if you are to look to buy a better unit. If you got 2k to spend, get the gx pump 5k-2 over the 5k-1! The 5k-1 is only a single stage, single motor model. The 5k-2 is the dual motor/dual stage floor model that i have. The difference is about $$$1k, lol. Have a good one 👍

You don't need the charcoal. It's not for blocking the oil but to purify the air for breathing. The cotton is for the oil filtering. Remove it and add more silica or molecular sieve. You can make one filter all cotton, one all molecular sieve and one all silica but likely overkill. By the way a GX compressor is good too. Small same price and it's oiless and waterless, fan cooled so nothing to leak. It has a larger piston so pumps more air less time and less heat.

I'm in the same boat, just feeling my way around the compressor. Will definitely order one of the filters you have. I got Royal Purple, saw a guy talking about it on another video.

There is a filter on the inlet side of my compressor that looks the same as yours, probably good to get one. One of those gold filters is good enough buddy.

I use Royal Purple synthetic 100 compressor oil.

3 filters is overkill, only need 1

Don't use any moter oil use silicone.for the filters stand them up they work better one should be enough but since you got three more the better
