An engineer giving a project update in a bathrobe is quickly approaching wizard status... next thing you know you'll start conjuring parts out of mid air! Congrats on milestones and the sponsorship offers!

How realistic do you think the claims are that advanced factory robots will end up throwing parts from robot to robot?
@harrisonlowАй бұрын
Haha not very! Granted I don't know that much about factory automation so there could be a need that I'm not familiar with. As soon as you lose contact with the object being thrown you can't control it anymore. Much easier to move things around reliably when you can control them for as long as possible 😊 (... Though I agree that a juggling factory would look insane)

@@harrisonlow There's a youtube video talking about how once throwing is reliably solved, slow conveyor belts could be eliminated by throwing throughout factories. As long as airflow is eliminated and there's no humans, it seems doable.

Do you think that your filament could be a factor in the bellow's not printing correcting such as the filament not being dry enough or other factors that could have changed since you originally printed them?
@harrisonlowАй бұрын
Potentially, though it's the exact same spool that I originally printed with, and I always dehydrate it for at least 8hrs at 55 deg, so it should behave pretty nicely. 🤔
