This is a fantastic RARE Pearce Simpson Super Tiger 40 A CB Radio imported from the USA way back when! This is the 2nd part to the series.

My dad passed away some time ago and I've recently been able to go tho what I have of his. I found his CB radio which just so happens to be this model. I now have the urge to fit it in my next car 😂. Brought some great memories back of being in the wagon with him.

About 50 years ago, my Dad had the Pearce-Simpson mobile CB with the telephone headset...It was a great CB, and sort of unique, with that telephone handset microphone.

I Luckily Found A Super Clean Pierce Simpson Super Tiger 40A New In The Box Myself And What Beautiful Radios They Are I Had To Have It! Not As Clean As Yours But Next To It, It's Just Missing The Owners Manual. 👍

I am very familiar with this model. I worked for P.S. and started out working on these. I was a technician who repaired the units that failed off the assembly line.

Can’t believe it , I had a tiger 40A my first rig gawd knows how long ago 7 7 / 78 ish I guess I would absolutely love another one now ! Are these things expensive now do you know ? Brilliant vid great memories I’ve not used a CB for 40 years now but I’m definitely getting another if I can find one of course 🙏👍

The RECV-O-SLIDE would be called Delta tune in the UK. Back in the days of AM in the UK I had one of these briefly. It worked but it got so much bleedover my conscience wouldn't let me sell it to anyone and it was pretty much un-useable so I scrapped it. I still have bits of it turning up now and then. I'd quite like another now and I'd really like a scan of the schematic.

These cb of Pearson Simpson are not so rare as you may think!.. it all depends at what time you hit ebay?... and they go for good prices too, superb quality, typical of uniden.
