Giving a child an MP3 player with no phone/text capability is quite useful, and leaving your phone free to run maps or take calls and not run down it's battery, they are useful devices.

Friggin huge! I've got a couple a quarter that size. Too much junk, all I need is music. Can use my phone for all that other stuff.

My 2005 Prius got C-casette player, tho I never used it, but that is old school 😂 I think you could play mp3 with any phone now so I am amazed that some really makes new mp3 playes in 2023! That demand can not be very high or am I wrong?

Mp3 players need to stay simple, this big screen and OS for apps is a waste, neither is interesting.
