Day 2 and 3 of the Hedge laying work diary, Laying hedges is not quick work but we are starting to make some progress. Starting to make a hedge out of the the bushes and trees.
As we get into this hedge laying work we start to form what looks like a hedgerow once again.
At this point there is a lot of brambles and dead wood to be removed from the hedge before we can think about starting work to lay the healthy living parts of the hedging.
This diary is more to document the progress of the hedge laying project from the personal perspective of a hedge layer so there is less focus on work, method and techniques.
Hedge laying work can be a very physically demanding task, working in all weather conditions and tackling all manner of thorns, brambles, barbed wire and the likes so certainly not for the faint of heart.
This series of hedge laying videos is purely a document of the task and progress of the work of laying a hedge from a personal perspective and in no way an instructional or advisory video diary.
