A pedal exerciser, also known as an under desk bike, is perfect for a low impact cardiovascular workout. This seated exercise helps improve stamina & circulation while toning both your arms and legs.
Dr. Michael White, PT, shows us how to use a pedal exerciser to get a cardio workout in while at work or at home. Great for beginners, seniors or those recovery from an injury or surgery. Follow these steps to get started:
Step 1:
Sit down in a chair or even couch. Adjust the tension from mild or moderate, based on your strength and ability.
Step 2:
Simply place your feet on the pedals & pedal for 20 to 30 minutes at a time.

Hi someone who had a heart problem and is required to walk Can this machine be used By a child after big heart Operation or is there only one for adults

It will as long as you stay in calory deficit. Use the online calculator to check what amount of calory you need everyday to stay in deficit while sedentary, then pair it with the cardio burnt calories (-40% because of the machine innacuracy and efficiency). You don't even need the machine if you can stay in calory deficit everyday, but this sure is gonna help you if let's say you wanted to eat some delicious snacks, then at least you have a way to burn it.
