I loved Pee Wee. He made me laugh. I told my boss at the time that I couldn't come to work on a Saturday until after I finished watching Pee Wee's Playhouse. My co-worker's gave me a Pee Wee doll (that I kept at work) because, they knew how much I liked him. When I left that company I left the doll in the design room so, they would remember me when they saw it. Rest in Peace Paul Reubens 💜

So many didn't think he was so good. He was a genius, kids and others loved him. He had it all for a while, wish he could have kept it going!

The day before he died I was asking my Aunt if she still had the doll and chairy. I never knew he was the voice of Rex! Excellent overview of the late great Pee Wee!

I can truly appreciate a talented man who uses his looks to his advantage in crafting a character who is queer yet endearing and entertaining. He certainly knows his target audience - those who see a cartoon character come to life rather than just a random nerdy character trying to be funny. The media can be cruel in kicking a man who's down just to get a juicy story to fill their headline. He didn't deserve it, he's human after all, everyone has flaws/vices. Only after discovering Pee Wee that I realize how similar Rowan Atkinson's Mr Bean is to the Pee Wee character.

The day i knew he was back when he came out at the Mtv music awards and said one of the greatest lines ever "Have you herd any good jokes lately?", i think it was the same one where Jackson and Presley came out and grossly made out.

the more I rediscover Pee Wee the more I see how strongly SpongeBob was inspired by Pee Wee - almost to the point of plagiarism. But it's under the sea with Ananas houses :)

he was supposed to be flapjack from cartoon network but backed out last minute when he didn't show up to record. i assume he just got super nervous about being a main children's tv show character again
