The diversity and beauty of Australian and southwest pacific fisheries are unmatched. You know how to live and explore it! You are a Sensai without the shitty parts like training forever and not eating. 😉 Your videography is superb too. Love watching you and the briggsy, brooksy, and of course cavy for the dedicated anglers you all are. All of you have obvious care and concern for the fisheries you harvest and are selective each day you fish. There are many anglers here in the US that have the same mindset/ethos, but many others that dont. Please keep up the amazing content! Your content raises my pulse, but lowers my blood pressure.

Yeah, you know its fair dinkum when the table fish order are fingers > nanny/reds > blueys > trout. I know it might feel overdone on yt, but love the overnighter/catch and cook styles mate. Love from down the road in Mackay ❤

Awesome video Matt, Totally agree Finger Mark or Golden Snapper as wee call them in the NT are the best chewing

Always a great video. I'm so envious of your occupation, location and the local species list. If you need a challenge come to Wisconsin and try to catch a Coral Trout.

G'day Matt. Bloody beautiful cod mate great to see you send it back. When you blokes do your catch and cook you just seem to grab a fish and bingo , the next thing there's a lovely white slab of flesh on the table. Could you share the secret to how you sharpen your knives to get them as sharp as they are. I can get a blade sharp but not surgically sharp like you blokes seem to have yours. Mate that fingermark looks a lot better than Macca's fillet of fish I'll tell ya'. Great show again mate.

Thanks for all the tips. I’m a full newbie. I bought your slow jig setup all the same except the rod. Will a 5’6 pe5 rod be too small and stiff for 120g lures?

Keep the content going bro . Oh yeah show us some footage of shooting aswell
