The pelagornis is a great dinosaur for small and solo tribes. Even just in general a good mount for scouting, fishing, and collecting organic polymer. This creature can help you whether you are pvp or pve.
This video is part of my channel for ARK: Survival Evolved, to help give you locations, hints, helps, guides,tips, cheats, glitches, cheese, the easy way, and whatever you might want to call these sorts of videos! :)

the reason i like this dino for fishing is because you can land and fish near someones base even when you cant place a chair because their structures are too close to the fishing spot.

You didn't mention that they do a metric ton of damage to fish. That's important because you can weed out the pesky piranha as well as the small fry fish before you whip out your pole. Also I can't quite confirm but I have a suspicion that they deal increased damage to other sea creatures such as Megalodons. I've fought wild megalodons with a good pelagornis and I also seem to deal more damage than what the damage numbers are indicating (I play on a cluster with damage numbers turned on). Might be something to test out.

Moschops have increased harvesting lvls just use their secondary attack, kariku farm plus a max lvl moschops makes for easy poly.

If u play on the island map they are the best way to farm polly, just go to the icebergs and eat up all the penguins in sight. Much better than using ur hard polly 👌

Tip:Put pelaglornis in cryo go to Valguero BroodMother (Mini Boss)than kill it, uncryo pelaglornis and harvest it (more then 1k polymer on 5x)

Take a mana over to abb and it’s ridiculously easy. Or if you’re doing it using a land dino like megalo, have a oviraptor on you and get it to pick up the drake egg. When it does grab it off of the oviraptor and drakes (and wyverns) won’t aggro

Did the Pelagornis not also have harvest options like the theri and moschops?

No, it doesn't. It just kills and harvests in one hit rather than two

According to the Dododex the Pelagornis is rated slightly higher than moschops for polymer. It's at the top of the list, but it is very close

@@etw4life970 dododex only calculates the basic amount it gathers moschops with levels pumped in poly farming will gather more than a pelegornis

organic polymer is different from polymer and you should rename this . because you can only get organic polymer, a chainsaw does better

Hey teach, new OP farming method. You on Magma, homie or alt account in crab claws with a whip. Mag pops raw stacks, homie in claw whips. Take homie back with crab like the old ankh method. Filled 8 Indy forges in about 10 mins. Best part is using the crab to drag homie from forge to forge to load without handling raw 20 times.

why is every ark youtuber like "look it gets so much of this" while having a pelagornis with 1.2k stam and 1.1k melee, this is impossible to get without breeding insanely
