His tricks were impressive and clean, and his presentation was great. People like magic because it is fun and entertaining, and this guy is certainly at both. Just cause 2 of the greatest magicians weren't fooled doesn't mean his slights are fuckin obvious to anyone but a trained eye, which I'm certain you don't have, because you wouldn't be writing something like this if you truly enjoyed magic like he, Penn and Teller do/

the camera angels have no effect when it comes to it, thats for the TV..... so that first section of the comment is dumb
@andrewsparkes88295 жыл бұрын
oBioHaz It isn't dumb? His whole point WAS "The camera didn't do him any favors, but that's because it was on TV and not live. If it were live, it'd be better." So if his point was dumb, yours is too, because you are literally making the same ultimate point as each other.

People dont understand just how tough it is to be a magician. You have to be PERFECT. EVERY time. Or you've lost the audience. A pitcher can throw a bad pitch, a QB a bad handoff, etc, and still win the game. You have NO room for error as a magician. I cannot imagine how many hours of practice it takes to be this good.
@TheDobstopper4 жыл бұрын
Well... A mediocre magician has to be perfect every time. A good magician has "outs" in case a trick doesn't go to plan. The best magicians create tricks that they KNOW they will have to use an out for 1 out of every 15 or 20 times they perform it. Derren Brown is the best example for someone that does tricks that won't always work, but seem impossible when they do. He wrote about it in one of his books, though I can't remember which one.
@spencer68744 жыл бұрын
You cant compare athletes to magicians. Athletes have to practice way more, way more work, more competition. I could go on. Not saying a magician has it easy, just athletes have it way harder

My favorite part....when Penn busts you, you smile and go back to drinking the beer looking completely guilty. It was almost as funny as Piff's gimmick of eating while being judged to show that he really doesn't care. All are liquids, and I think due to the foam it would be hard to store them sideways with a lid, since the foam would stick to the side of tha glass for some time, revealing that it was just sideways - that is unless the foam is faked somehow for those glasses.
