Day 14 on the Pennine Way was a relatively short 16 miles from Bellingham to Byrness.
I’m walking the Pennine Way to raise money for the MIND charity. If you’d like to donate, you can do so here:

You should be proud of yourself to have got so far. Best of luck with the Cheviots. It's going to be windy but just think that your goal is in sight. I'm old enough to have seen notts forest win many things including European cups. They had brilliant sides back then. Sadly my father used to drag me to watch Manchester city and most years ended in relegation. Not so much now. Keep on going. I dont envy your early start tomorrow but remember, that you have lots of supporters rooting for you.

At the end of a long effort I feel like it's entirely normal to feel very emotional, even without other factors playing on your mind. You've travelled a long way on your own two feet and had an incredible experience. Definitely brings out a few tears in most people.

You’ve done really well to go over 13 days before getting a blister! Another good section done. I am not surprised you feel emotional, this is a great achievement and I think you have really been seduced by the challenge that the long national trails offer, so here’s to many more in the future. I have really enjoyed the daily videos and look forward to seeing the finale tomorrow! And thank you for going to the effort of filming and editing these every day. “Like walking with a friend” is a really accurate description as one of your commentators said, as you have taken us with you on your journey every day so thank you again 👍

I guess by the time you read this you will be finished. I hope the wind wasn’t as bad as you feared today and I hope the blisters haven’t been a problem. I’ll save my congratulations for tomorrows video. But brilliant job Anthony!

have to agree with other viewers comments- you have an unassuming way which helps make your video's very watchable. glad your doing the PW at this time and putting the effort in filming (and walking!) . something to refer back to to help me recall all the scenery of an epic walk.

Yikes! Very exciting Anthony, penultimate day 😀 🐄 (all the best for today) you have smashed this, really well done! Great updates from Toby and George too, glad they are well ❤ Nice to hear and see that wind, looking forward to seeing tommroows section wow 🌬⛰ Nice that you found some reflection time for Simon and Wendy, best wishes ❤ Loved the forestry section on this one Ant 🌲👍 We all know the real reason for the emotion , that lawn isn't going to mow itself! Only kidding, really well done again, it's been a pleasure to follow you on this series, good breakfast tele and lovely viewing as always 😁☕🎂 Have a cracking final day Ant, stay safe and well, Ceri and Kat ☕ ❤ 🌞 👍

Thank you for sharing your experience Anthony, completing any long distance hike is always going to be emotional. It’s hard to describe why, but it just is. I think you have to be there to understand. I had the same after completing the WHW. it’s a great achievement, I know you have one day still to go, but I suspect you will get there even if you have to crawl the last few miles.😂. The added bonus is that you only have to eat one more grenade bar! 😂 looking forward to Day 14. Take care

Thanks Tony. I left my few remaining Grenade bars in a bothy on the Cheviots. I suspect they will be there for some time 😆. Thanks for following the journey 👍

@@AnthonyJohnson1 oh yeah I use Canva for mine. Didn’t realise they had a mobile version but good to know for editing on the go. Saw your comment to someone on a previous video about it the app you used for the main editing too. Will keep in mind for when I can’t edit at a PC. Hopefully bump into you in the Peaks!

Great videos Anthony and a fantastic effort to cover the distance in 15 days. 915 subscrbiers is great to see too. Doesn't 1k subscribers gain approval from Mrs Johnson, to by a new camera I seem to recall from the Cleveland Way videos? :-)
