In this shoemaking tutorial, I will show how to make one of the possible designs of a penny keeper for loafer shoes. I will use the basic pattern of the penny keeper that we have made in my new Loafers Making Course.
The original design of this Penny Keeper was different, it contained straps with tassels but my goal was to show you that by using the same pattern we can multiply our design possibilities.
Overall, in the Loafers course, I teach how by using one pattern of Loafers you can create many other different styles of Loafer shoes.
In the tutorial, I use the basic pattern from the Loafers Making Course and adjusted it to the new design of the penny keeper.
The new design of the penny keeper will be with raw edges (raw cut-shoemaking) and with a slot in the middle.
You also can stitch around the entire edge of the penny keeper, if you want, or add folding as we do in the course.
