I feel like the video is symbolic for the band's journey so far. They started off sat on a sofa, then they got moving a bit, they got on the road and started touring, Mitch became a proper rockstar, their career set off like a shooting star, but they're still the same people they were when they started off on that couch all those years ago.

On IG they said it took 6hrs to arrange and 10hrs to film. They also give the significance of the moving couch - symbolising their journey and touring craziness

Masterpiece is exactly the right term. Grammy #4. This is what Scott wrote about the video concept on his IG: "Wow. Ok. Cheesy moment...but bear with me. This Bohemian Rhapsody video has been one of the most intense and fulfilling projects of my career yet. From the 6 hours arranging session with @thebenbram and @kolusola, to a midnight choreographing/brainstorm session with @im_lindseyb, @coloredcraig, and @dano_o_ , the grueling overnight 10 hour shoot, I couldn’t be HAPPIER with how it came out. We start on a couch to pay homage to where we started and our original videos, and then we travel down the road to represent the crazy touring and journey we have been on the past 6 years. I have had an emotional 24 hours thinking about how grateful I am for the entire Pentatonix team, what we’ve been through, & how hard so many people worked to make this EP and video happen… & THANK YOU GUYS for sharing and watching and being so sweet as always. I really do love y’all and hope y’all enjoy the EP! :)"

I think this could be their next GRAMMY just because of instrumental part of the song they did with their voices. Mitch own this song and Kevin standout too ,but they all was great.

Loved your face at Mitch's sly smile at 2:30--and your "come on!" when he flopped on the couch and played dead for two seconds, with his mourners walking along down the street--Kevin and Avi even had a hand on the couch, like pallbearers.

This has to be my favorite PTX performance. They not only did outstanding justice to this classic, but the sheer creativity involved in executing the video is genius.

I like the contrast they built across the video; it mirrors the journey of the song very well. As usual, the performance is a masterpiece, but I'm not sure why we should expect otherwise at this point. I always enjoy watching reaction videos where people don't hold back or try to act for the camera and just show their audience who they really are. Great video!

I know they didn't have the time required on "The Sing-Off" but if they had done this for that show, the other groups would have just quit, knowing they had no chance in HELL of winning with Pentatonix in the competition. (They didn't have a chance anyway, but they would have known it.) As it is, when they did the "Let's Get It On" presentation, several of the teams knew it was over.
