Hello Patrol, Just seeing this reaction three years later! This is one of PTX's best covers - Mitch's low notes then climbing the octaves right up to the high notes - clean and perfect. A Capella perfection from all five of them in PTX again. Kevin driving that beat is fantastic.

Mitch shows off his lower range in it. There is a female voice in there too. (Kirsty).....The energetic beautiful high notes. Why I love their version so much. 4 males, 1 female. With her in there singing, I listen to it over and over, Makes me happy. Makes me want to do a speed painting to their beat.

For another look at Mitch's talent, check out his cover of Feist's "Graveyard''. It was his first solo video. Different but very good, not that Mitch would be anything but. There aren't a whole lot of reactions to it which is a shame.

As you aren't familiar with the original, you probably should give it a listen (and watch the video which is amazing) and it may be worth listening to the Acoustic version also by Ah-ha as they are both great.

Boy, he hit that high note without a flinch. Very clear without the sponge-bob-like squack he sometimes has with the highs. He does the low notes well too and I'd like to hear more of that. I never cared for this song in the past but I can listen to this. As far as the temperatures go, I'll trade you-- it's 20 degrees f. here with 10 inches of snow and I'm freezing.

Gonna show my age here but I saw aHa live in the mid 80’s and they were awesome as was the original video to this song but having heard the PTX version I can no longer listen to the original because Mitch is flawless. You should also react to the original, by the Norwegian band a-ha. They had their breakthrough in Europe and the United States in 1985. The song's animated and innovative music video was a contributing factor to the breakthrough, and was long time ahead of its time.
