When do we average citizens ever protest in the streets? It's usually political parties or union workers. We don't even have spaces in the city to go out and protest.

There are in fact only 2 categories of people in India, but for a small number, spread here and there, among the well-educated, with ability to understand the political ground realities, analyse, critique, debate and discuss current issues. The rest of the people may be categorised into * Modi-maniacs - 75% * Modi-Shah phobiacs - 5% (The figures are my guess). The former love Modi too much. The latter are afraid are afraid of ED, It, CBI, etc. Among these are Bank Loan evaders, political party jumpers, those accused of financial corruption, Main Media Journalists, etc. Hence, what and how to expect anyone in this situation to protest.

That's because people, especially youth, are confused or made to get confused in the vast and fast spreading news all over all media formats. So which side to take and protest against what or whom.

People have forgotten to protest.partys have been submerged in couuption and rivalry within.we have seen 1962 to 2014 when agitation was daily affair.but last 10y is away from any protest other than court cases is just surprising or weakness of leadership.

People have not forgotten nowadays they put them in bars under UAPA and beldoz policy and main thing is hindu kharay main hai. People afraid and opposition is divided and also when their old cases as long as 30, 20 or 15 years old

Sheep... sheep... we're all sheep. Why is Sanjay Jha saying, "I'm not blaming the people"... of course, we, the people are to blame. We're a bunch of spineless, brainless people who are only driven by emotion and not by reason. We lack the ability to think clearly, and to honestly introspect about oneself keeping our ego aside. We don't care about India...we care about religious, caste, and gender divisions.Deeply disappointed in us as Indians.

Could it be that there is no protests because people may be busy trying desperately to earn a living to feed their children. Jobless youth can be galvanised do their parents ask them what is their contribution to the household after being out all day untill late night?
