Enjoyed the video.. Caught a lot of sea trout off that beach back in the 60's/70's, We used spinning gear but back then you could buy bamboo poles and they were used to fish similar to how you used that pole. There was a kid a bit older than us that used it exclusively and would fish off shag point quite often for sea trout. he would just use a plain hook with a bit of red cloth on it, he used to get a lot of trout. Many red shirts had cloth missing back in those day. lol.. I enjoyed the video and look forward to the next one. Take care and stay safe.

Neat rod, looks like the same idea as the old Bamboo we used to used when i was a kid.

Man I could spend days on that beach smelling the salt water!!
