I'm grateful her parents stepped in, because there would be no justice for the dog. The plaintiff is clueless and the defendant is malicious.

Either she’s afraid of her boyfriend, or she is one of these desperate women who will do anything to be with a man. Or both. This is disgusting that she defends him and doesn’t immediately prosecute him.

This was so frustrating to watch. The plaintiff was an enabler to so much of this behavior from the defendant. But he also has abusive tendencies. She seems timid and even a little afraid during her testimony. The poor dog. 💔

She had ONE job. To bring EVIDENCE of the bills... I will never understand how a plaintiff will show up to court with NO evidence of what they are suing for...

It took him so long to tell the story cus he was trying to figure out how to not make himself not look as bad. A TRUTHFUL story don’t take that long to tell. Any person who abuses an animal is a f*cking psychotic freak show. Neither one of them deserve to own an animal.

Linney stays in the kennel all day because she's not house trained. Well she will never be trained if you don't give her the opportunity to learn! Both don't deserve pets!

The amount of times she cracked a smile had me livid, that poor puppy will never walk the same. And to top it all off she lied to protect HIM? Animals aren’t accessories they deserve a healthy long life.

I couldn't even finish watching this.... between his excuses and the plaintiff laughing during some of her testimony, I didn't know who to be disgusted at more. Hope the dog gets better with time and healing

The judgement should be held until they file a police report. This isn’t a rare accident, the guy is dangerous.

I'm growling for the sake of this poor dog. People -- you do NOT keep dogs locked in cages. If you cannot, or will not, take the time to train your furry family members, do not adopt one. This is cruelty, in every form. Shame on the BOTH of them. She needs to polish her spine, too.

My anxiety is on edge watching this episode. I have a fur baby and hearing them explain how the baby urinated on the floor and he kicked her and put his foot on her and threw her broke my heart. 💔💔 IDC what nobody says. Fur babies are like children. You don't beat on them. That's cruel ASF. ☹️☹️ I couldn't imagine beating or harming my pup in any way. I used to cuss my ex out and fight with him whenever I felt he was being too rough with my pup and he used to get mad and tell me I cared more about my dog than I cared about him. I didn't care. I treat my pup as if she were a child. The plaintiff was being too nice. 🙄🙄 She's doing too much laughing and smiling.

This was infuriating to watch. If this is how he treats animals, I can’t imagine how abusive he is in a relationship. I don’t understand why she keeps laughing while talking about the situation. Both of them are sick.

The plantiff only got upset when the defendant went out, didnt even examine the dog that day.

My uncle kicked a dog in front of me and my cousins when we were younger because it didnt move fast enough. First time i ever in my life heard a pitbull cry i was pissed at him i didnt speak to him for years. The defendant is an animal abuser too i can see thru the way hes trying to clean it up hes so nervous he cant speak. He knows he did it. and shes a bum for letting him do it. i wouldnt trust her to protect her children either

My heart broke when the plaintiff said the dog will never walk again. The defendant has serious angry issues and he shouldn't ever own a pet until he gets help. This precious dog is looking up to the defendant as a strong leader and needs help how to be potty trained. Now, the dog will never be able to the bathroom on his own. very sad case.

I’m so glad the parents stepped in. The young woman was in danger and she doesn’t even know it. Her dog became the warning of what her boyfriend is capable of. Eventually the young woman would have been the victim of his violence. This young woman needs counseling. She was completely unable to advocate for herself and/or her fur baby. Her mother had to do it like she’s still a child. That needs to be examined and resolved, especially before she has children.

If that dog was really on its back, peeing in the air, that poor thing was absolutely terrified. I don't want to say it was the defendant, but that is not the first time that that dog was treated like that. They both sound like highly irresponsible pet parents.

Wow, J. Milian really came down on the plaintiff, missing all the signs. There's a very big likelihood that what he did to that dog he's also done to her judging by her demeanor. Only the truly sick abuse animals. Sad for the dog but even worse that ppl feel so much more for the dog than they'll ever feel for that woman. Yes, she excused his behavior, even minimized it. She sounds meek and laughs nervously to deflect when confronted by the severity of the situation. All of this is consistent with signs of abuse. And she gets yelled at and blamed in court and in the comments. Sheesh. Some people love trees and animals more than they love some people. Open your eyes and see that there's likely more than one victim here and focus on the _real_ bad guy.

Me and my siblings were abused by our birth mother's 1st husband for nearly a year before a school social worker got involved - so many people don't give af about human children & ignore our abuse, but will go to bat for dogs & other animals. It would be nice if they kept the same energy for little children too... They kind of grow up into the adults who will be the ones wiping your butts when you're too old and sick... Never seen a dog do that for their owners, so you might want to value humans too🙄.

I wish the law would be updated to take animal abuse way more seriously!!!! How could you trust someone wholl disable a 7lb dog with a baby? A child? Slipped discs are really serious in dogs. My dog slipped a disc just jumping off the couch and she wouldn’t let anyone touch her for two days; had to throw a blanket over her just to pick her up and get her to the vet. The vet also told us she might never be able to run or jump normally again. Thankfully it was just swelling and once it went down she was fine.

The plaintiff is the type of female who lets a boyfriend live with her and her children knowing that he is abusing her children yet looking the other way and not protecting them. Because protecting them would mean not letting a boyfriend in her home and giving him access to her children in the first place.

Something is VERY off with the plaintiff. Her affect is difficult to understand.

When I was dating a guy he stated my dog snapped at him. I said "well what did you do for her to snap at you?" He got so mad i chose my dog over him. Needless to say he didn't work out. 😅
