Right now he has the most in Hollywood a little over 700 and the record is held by someone in Bollywood (India) with 857 screen appearances. That is why we see Eric in so many movies and tv shows. He seems to just enjoy acting.

Ken Marino, the captain, has a small role in Veronica Mars, a show I endorse; he has a bigger role in Party Down, another show I endorse. VM has 2 seasons of 20-22 episodes, the 3rd was I believe 13 (writer's strike), and a movie. Really strong writing, an episode and series long mystery show that is funny and sometimes pretty heart-warming. Veronica Mars is a really really well-written protagonist. Party Down had 2 seasons of about 13 episodes each; a great cast, the main characters played by Adam Scott and Lizzy Caplan. A comedy; if you like BNN, I'd be shocked if you didn't like Party Down about as much.
