We had a stately visitor to our Port Huron live cam in Michigan, who seemed happy for her close-up.
From the Blue Water Audubon: the band numbers on her legs indicated that she Tonga. Hatched in 2003 in Mississauga ON and has nested in a box on the Blue Water Bridge since 2005.
And just in time to catch the arrival of CSL Tadoussac, a Self Discharging Bulk Carrier built in 1969 and sails under the flag of Canada.

The peregrine falcon is Tonga, banded black 85/H, the resident female at the nest box under the Blue Water Bridge since 2005. She hatched in 2003 in Mississauga, Ontario.

Just spotted this video today. Very impressive work by the cam operator. And it's good to see that the bird is social distancing during the pandemic.

What a gorgeous bird of prey, clearly this Falcon has been tagged as you can see on both of its Talons, what a treat to see this up close like this.

Great timing and cooperation! Tonga flew off in time for cam op to get back to ship spotting!

When I was aboard a US Army vessel sailing south somewhere off the coast of North Carolina years ago, a bird of prey (I can only recognize the Bald eagle and Red-Tailed Hawk) struck a seagull type that had been resting on top of a Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit (we referred to them as a 20 foot conex) right in front of the bridge. It killed it instantly then proceeded to devour it completely as we watched. I'll never forget those big, dark eyes.

When I lived in Fort Gratiot about 2 miles from the bridge, there was a falcon that sat in one of my trees everyday trying to catch one of the birds i used to feed

I know someone who lives on the street behind that building. You could literally throw a rock and hit her house from where this camera is. You can for sure see this building from her front porch.

I worked at Sea World-San Diego with a Falconeer. Used to keep sea gulls away. They swoop in 100 MPH and rip the gull to shreds. I'll bet there isn't a Sea Gull within 2 miles of this guy.

I've got Falcons and hawks hanging around my front yard. I was out front talking to my neighbor and a Falcon and Sparrow came swooping down and missed by head by inches and the Falcon caught the Sparrow in the pine tree. A bunch of noise came after.

Poor Mourning Doves. They are super fast flyers, once in the air, but their reflexes when on the ground feeding or perched, are slow. We've had them taken out by Cooper's Hawks in our backyard. I used to refer to them as 'Morning' Doves also. But they are called 'Mourning' Doves, apparently, because of the mournful sound of their calls.
