However, ppl have this crazy notion that Alex can't wrestle, he very obviously can do enough to defend, he also has nasty leg kicks and threatens to hit you coming in which changes the game a lot. In a potential Alex x Ankalaev fight I have Poatan winning by knee down the middle while Ankalaev tries to shoot for a takedown.

Alex is so powerful. Just a tap and boom. Not much movement, no nothing, just tap and down goes the opponent. I think Jiri will gatekeep the division by beating everyone else and stay in no 1 contender spot but never winning against Alex.

He’ll never be the LHW goat simply because he’s dominating a relatively weak division. Jones beat 3 generations of LHW’s basically, including a prime division and has beaten another all timer in Daniel Cormier 2x. Alex simply doesn’t have the competition to allow him to usurp Jones, but he’s a legend regardless.
