Perfect chakli recipe | chakkuli making In traditional style | ಚಕ್ಕುಲಿ | Urad dal chakli | murukku
Chakkuli is a traditional snack, which is loved by most individuals. There are different methods of chakkuli making. I show you how to prepare urad dal chakkuli in traditional method. Ingredients required are very few, rice, urad dal and oil for frying are the main ingredients. Jeera seeds& sesame seeds are added for nice flavor. These chakkulis play main roll during poojas and festivals and even functions also. But we can also prepare it normal days when we feel like eating it. But it can be stored more than 15 days if stored in the airtight container.
Ingredients:-
Raw rice (dollar brand used)1kg
Fried urad dal powder 3/4 kg
Butter
Zeera 5sp
Salt to taste
Seseme seeds 3sp
Oil for deep fry

Though I do not understand Kannada language I just love the way you make all the recipes in a traditional way using all organic food stuff and traditional brass iron mud utensil which are so good for health. I really wish to stay in your village and live a peaceful life. All along I have being brought up and living in a metropolitan city where nothing is pure air water vegetables and even people. Everything is like a mirage. No doubt real life is in villages only. I really envy. Best of luck brother. You are doing a fine job. Keep posting new recipes.

You Live life Kingsize while People in City Feel suffocated with all the running around , kitchen as a Mini Factory with various gadgets and Huge Fridge with stored items , processed food etc etc and no experience of village life unless they are connected to some Villages .. My suggestion is if you can experiment with an Ecological plus Economic Model by creating a Facility for people to visit and experience Wellness at Grass Root Level

In Indian Cooking every real recipe is all of Village origin but there was nothing called village cooking and city cooking. Modernisation through commercialisation and LAZINESS UNDER COVER OF "BUSY CITY LIFE" simply created a mess called City Cooking. Some new cooks need even a dress code and geometrical instrument box to cut vegetables as if the recipe is for preparation of complicated pharmaceutical product. There is nothing wrong with use of modern appliances accessories and some ingredients .Aged people know that many FOREIGN veggies of 75 yrs back are todays v illage veggies... Like Tomatoes, Cauli flower or Cabbage.... Even many kitchen appliances made of wood changed and modernused, but we call them today as primitive. CHANGES ARE there to stay.
