In this video I show you how to use a very simple hand tool to make perfect bends without the need to calculate anything.

Great video and what could be a very complex calculation simplified with a tool, I especially liked the extra thought you have with making it a drawing instrument as well. On a side note something that would also be a great gadget to make on a 3D printer

Hello, if I understood, if I wanted to make a smoother curve, I simply have to skip a tooth (or those that are necessary) of that thing so that it curves smooth as a medano?

Hi there! This tool is designed for a curve of radius 50mm. You could achieve different radiuses by skipping teeth, but the math needs to be correct. I would have to check, but skipping a tooth would equate to 100mm radius (I think). If you kerf on EVERY tooth, the curve would be 50mm radius and very smooth. The number of teeth you use determines the angle. Does that make sense to you?
