Perfect Potato Salad - 3 Ways | Jamie Oliver

Keep it simple with a lemon and olive oil dressing, add some creaminess with yogurt and mustard or go the whole hog with crispy bacon bits and pan fried breadcrumbs. Soft, crunchy full of flavour and texture, this easy dish will wow your guests and make whatever you serve it with taste amazing.

Not all veg or even all potatoes, just new potatoes. Generally speaking if it grows underground, put into cold. If it grows overground put into boiling. My chef friend who was trained by Pierre Koffman told me this.

@@Philrc eat it while it's 'tiède', then it's the best as cold foods have less flavour. Eating it while it's still a little warm is so much better. I don't make this specific salad but the difference is huge between cold and a little warm.

Potatoes, hard boiled eggs, diced celery, diced radish, diced sweet red pepper, snippets of green spring onion, handful of frozen peas, hellmans olive oil mayo and fresh cracked black pepper. You can add bacon, pickles or what ever else you wish, but I like it fairly plain.

Made this tonight but had to substitute yoghurt for mayo but oh my lord.....!!!! It tastes so incredible! It surprised me the difference it made to the taste, by doing everything whilst the spuds were still hot, and the kick of the lemon was something else! Will definitely be doing it more often.
