I own heat,heat rush and pulse. I think Heat smells the best it's really nice but it doesn't last long enough.

My wife just sampled some last night while shopping and I was able to get a whiff. Very nice!!! They got this blend of fragrance right!!! A bottle for her will now be a Christmas gift.

all the sample i've smelled of this smell so different from the bottle i purchased! even when i tested a couple sprays at macy's, i just felt like it was lacking fruity notes, it was almost gag worthy...but when i took my bottle out of the box and sprayed a few drops on my wrist, it was like a pure sex! i've been absolutely loving it, and i'm so so surprized!

So, based on your (excellent) review, I totally see a correlation between your description of the scent and the packaging. The bottle gets progressively darker red as it goes down, and you said it gets warmer as you wear the scent. Thought that was kind of cool. LOVE your reviews. Thank you

I, like you, go back and forth as to whether I like this fragrance. Heat and I definitely have a love/hate relationship. Because of this, I don't think I'll repurchase it...or maybe I will.

It sounds like a gourmand, the way you describe it. I imagine a thick syrupy gourmand. I don't think I'd like it but who knows? The bottle and the color of the liquied is gorgeous, so is the packaging.

Oh yeah, and the party analogy was brilliant :)

I agree with you so much about peach! It screws up so many fragrances! Peach, apricot, and nectarine all have ruined fragrances for me.

i totally agree with you on this scent, its super confusing ! sometimes it smells like rat poison and sometimes it smells sexy. sometimes it gives me a headache, and sometimes i feel confident wearing it. if it was 30 dollars id go for it but since its 60 i feel like its not worth it at all ! the bottle looks and feels super cheap too, its like a bath and body bottle and the scent has the same quality. at bath and body u can get a spray for 5-6 .

I went to Ulta today with my daughter. We took sample cards from at least 2 dozen of the most expensive perfumes in the place, including Dior Cherie. The ones I left with were Valentino Rock N Rose, YSL Parisienne, Escada Sunset Heat, Escada Island Kiss.....AND Beyonce Heat.

I was staring at the Lava lamp the whole video, not sure I heard everything you said except for the angry peach like an elephant stumping around pissing you off. For some odd reason I enjoyed this particular video the best. :)

Great review! I totally agree with you on the can't decide if I love it/hate it. I love magnolia and vanilla... two of my fave notes, but that peach/nectar mix is the most synthetic, cheap smelling note ever. ugh. It just cheapens the entire fragrance. Because of this I passed on Heat :/.

Awesome reveiw. I wish all pefume reveiws were like this. Funny and entertaining but also very informative. The lava lamp is cool, but kinda distracting, haha. Love it! As for my opinons on the actual fragrance, I don't really like it. It's too heavy for me.

I just want to say that after viewing and reading numerous reviews on this fragrance, I finally decided it would be something I might enjoy. I like the bottle design as well. I enjoyed the opening quite a bit, actually. It was peachy syrupy but also spicy, then it dries into a your basic ambery type of musk. So it's nothing special, really. Not as wonderful and people say and not as horrible as people say. You're basic winter fragrance that isn't floral but more of a fruity spicy musk. IMO.

the bottle is suppose to be just like beyonce body, hourglass shape, slim top and curvaceous bottom.

Im just dying for the lady gaga perfume out in spring 2012!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love to see you review gaga's

Just saw this review, I was debating between Heat or Pulse. Very helpful since peach notes don't work well with my chemistry...hilarious at the same time, "stomps around with his elephant feet," Love your reviews!

My only regret is that I didn't get the gift set, just the bottle of EDP.

Yeah I did not like heat either, but I like her newest fragrance, that one smells so fresh and clean :)

@MySkiesAreBlue24, everyone always says they read this thing where Beyonce said she doesn't wear perfume or she's allergic to it. She was asked in 04' about perfume and she said she isn't allergic and she did wear perfume when she was younger. There are even videos of her spraying herself with Heat

i heard many similar complaints about this fragance some ppls even claim it made them sick. and now i see why the note in this fragrance dont match. there's a rumor beyonce doesn't wear fragrance because shes allergic. i recall reading in a magazine where she said herself she didn't like parfum and prefered the natural smell of the boby. she thought that was sexier. this could be reason why this fragrance is a mess.

@Rihanna865 Yes Heat Rush smells better then Heat. Heat Rush smells very fruity and juicy, where Heat just smells dark and spicy.

Heat smells strong and not sweet. Heat rush is way better it's so sweet fruity and sugary :) but the only bad thing is tht it doesn't last long :(

I smelled it and it kinda smelled like Kimora Lee Simmons Fabolosity! And I like Kimora's better!

i bought it because i thought i liked the smell. but at home i realized it smells ugly.

I'm not fond of "Heat" IMO its one of those scents that smells okay on the first spray but after like 5 seconds smells kind of gross. Glad I got to try it and didn't buy it.

i'd say heat is like your lava lamp...the light oil that always sits on top, then the globs of gooey stuff that bubbles through and then the heat from the lightbulb at the bottom lol
