Period Vocabulary, English (mostly) for the ladies. Though I would always argue that everyone should know all aspects of language whether it directly affects them or not. Knowledge is power. So although the period is something only the ladies will experience, gentlemen I encourage you to learn this vocabulary also so that you are not completely baffled when you hear the bizarre phrases explained in this lesson. Menstruation is perfectly natural and nothing to be ashamed of, and I am proud to support the women in my audience with this English lesson.
I am on a mission to provide thousands of Free English lessons to you all, because I strongly believe that education should be available to everyone no matter what their circumstances are. Take a look at the hundreds of free English lessons I have provided so far: bit.ly/BritishEnglishLatest

I think only you can shoot these types of video which is quite embarrassing for mostly teachers . And I’m happy that you can speak about this forthrightly.

Indeed. This is not the kind of topics you can usually ask out loud with people unless you have some serious trust with. Normally you have to absorb this kind of vocabulary by paying attention to your environment. Thanks for the content.

Wow, Anna! This lesson is so instructive, mainly for us guys. Ladies in my country in general avoid the topic and don't share it with us. And ignorance generates misunderstanding. Thank you kindly for another superb lesson. I'm your fan!

I think this is fine content, and for anyone looking to live or work in the UK and especially post COVID, then knowing how and what to do and say in a country is really useful and helpful. Love the way Anna does the psychological “tell” of remembered experience at 3/4 as she looks up and to her left. Clearly a memory of recent experience !

thank you Anna, this video was really useful... you usually can't find these words in school textbook and sometimes even dictionary are not useful if the two languages are too different... so even going to a shop and buy some sanitary towel can be difficult if you don't know how to explain properly what you want to buy ... and mimic sometimes is just confusing XD so, thank for this video!
