Peripheral Vascular Disease(PVD): Causes, Signs & Symptoms, Diagnosis &Treatment

Peripheral vascular disease(PVD) is a condition which occurs in arteries supplying other than the heart or brain. PVD is also known as Peripheral arterial disease(PAD). Most common cause of PVD is atherosclerosis. Others include Thrombo - embolism, Buerger's disease, Raynaud's phenomenon etc.
Here in this video I discuss about the different causes, signs and symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of PVD. At the end of the video, I make a quick summery to help you remember all those facts in the entire video.

I’m 77 years old. Sorry, can’t listen this fast. Had to keep pausing it. In my life have had Raynaud’s, Buerger’s (yes, I’m a woman👩quit smoking, and leg was saved with sympathectomy), and currently struggling with temporal arteritis. But I’m not complaining, I’ve had a great life and health otherwise. ☺️

Wow thank you. I’ve been to many doctors and no one bothered to listen for bruit even tho I can hear the bruit in my own ear any time I bend at the waist lol. They still haven’t thought about PVD even tho I have MCTD + secondary Reynaud’s. This video has helped me articulate majority of my symptoms over the last 2 years. TY 💜

I have an arterial bulge in my left wrist- aneurysm/ pseudoaneurysm? Going through testing this week- at 76 This Scares the Living Daylights out of ME- but I'm basically healthy and will get through This Too!

I have had these symptoms for 6 years and been to the doctors in the UK around 70 times and they say we don't know what your problem is then I Google it and look on you tube and its there. What do we have to do to get help now days even though you pay thousands in national insurance 🤔 .

hello sir.. your video is really nice.. i am suffring from same condition and it was really depressing nothing was working then i tried using planet ayurveda medication and it really made a difference
