to the people that are commenting talking abt global warming: this is a totally natural phenomenon. Perito Moreno is located in front of a lake with two branches. As it grows, the ice periodically blocks the water between the two branches. Pressure of water causes erosion of the ice, it starts with a little hole under the water which becomes larger and larger until the ice collapse just like in the video. Then the process start again. It lasts abt 5-6 years.

Panasonic Lumix ZS40. It does have stabilization. Excellent optical zoom.

That is why it collapses, it is constantly growing and by blocking the passage of water it ends up collapsing, it is a natural cycle. Ignorant ape.
