This show is freaking amazing. It's crazy how underrated it is and how the geek fanboys aren't aware of it as much like Arrow, The Flash, Agents of Shield etc. This show is a better superhero show without being an actual superhero show.

Yeah same happens here... but I think it's because where I live you can't find the "official legal episodes", but I love it and I also think it's a very smart show

THIS was the moment Person of Interest transcended your basic run of the mill procedural. The revelation of Elias and his game made this universe bigger and more exciting.

I had great hopes for this show. This episode was the first one that took it up a notch. Number Crunch took it up another notch. And darn if the first season finale didn't take it up another notch!

Definitely a line i would use if i ever hosted a national lottery show. Just before the machine selected the winning balls i would look at the camera and say 'and how many of those numbers will come up because we saved one man's life'

Aye - Latin. Apparently it's what Julius Caesar reported back to the senate after dealing with a troublesome hostile kingdom on the frontier. ...my only tiny complaint is Enrico mispronounced the line (or his character Elias did, which is doubtful given his penchant for knowledge); the three words would be pronounced "weenie, weedie, weekie" (there's no 'v' sound in Latin {v -> w - IPA /u:/}, and you'll notice there is no letter 'w' in the classical Latin alphabet - it was invented in the 11th century.)

Jaded Empath -- Latin, lacking living native speakers, doesn’t have a definite “correct” pronunciation, so in modern times we generally have two competing views: One is held by people who base their pronunciation on how it’s spoken by the catholic church and the Vatican, the only modern country that has Latin as its official language. This pronunciation is based on the pronunciation of Italian, and as such, “V” is pronounced like the English “v”.

I need to binge watch it again. It started off as kind of typical CBS case of the week show with a bit of an overall season long plot thrown in. Then it eventually became so much more than that, and not the type of show CBS usually shows. Became about the dangers of becoming a surveillance state, and so much more.

One of the best scenes in the whole show. If you weren't hooked by now, this is the part were the show will definitly get you. Also, the final scene were Elias is seen from behind reminds me of Sopranos.

Kind of sad to think that three years later he walks down the same pier, all alone, without Anthony. In my opinion, Elias is definitely my all-time favorite TV character and antihero. He was so well developed and the POI writers utilized him so well.

All these years later this is still my favourite episode of Person of Interest. It gives me major Keyser soze vibes as in a mythical underworld figure out for vengeance toying with the police, with the other crimes bosses, identity unknown even to the machine.

Elias was a somewhat "good" criminal... He mostly killed other criminals, or people who deserved... Just like Dexter.
