This was one of the greatest, underrated shows to come out of the golden era of TV. The way they managed to do a deconstruction of the Batman character via Finch and Reese (ones the intelligent billionaire, the others the superhero figure), set in a cop drama in a Gotham-style city with Game of Thrones level character plots and world building, and the overarching AI theme, makes this one of the greatest works of film in my opinion. The finch/Reese and finch/nathan arcs over the first 2 seasons, then root and shaw, and ultimately the machine, and the the cautionary tale about AI throughout the whole show set it apart from the average series. This show had a vision, a purpose, and a message.

Beautifully said. There was definitely a tone and narrative shift in season 3 during the halfway point, but it’s still amazing and the stories told were just spectacular.

@@scottjohnston8016 because the story was told! I don't think there should've been endless seasons of it, they had a message, and they delivered it. I don't even want a reboot, I don't think there's more territory to cover on the show.

Not just the script, the plot, the characters, the actors, even the music is so awesome it gives me chill every time. Saw many action thriller TV show & movies. No matter how many days past. Person of Interest will be remembered. Its Epic. Yes Jim Caviezel did absolute justice to John Reese Character. Its like what RDJ is to Tony Stark, they feel one person with two different names, similarly John Reese feels Jim, no Jim feels John, wait both are same.

true, body armor still hurts like a bastard. The brunt fore alone sends you back. Its something they never really do right on shows, having the wearer tank it. If this was real, the second bullet would of sent him to the ground. Remember the vest has plates in it, a bullet hitting them would shunt the metal plates into his chest. Winding him at best, and maybe allowing a inch of the bullet or bent plates into his skin at worst.

@@mariacelestehey6025I totally agree.. they were for political crap.. didn’t need them and Shaw was so unrealistic.. Shaw was a robot/man acting person .. highly trained but could get her butt kicked by many a men on the show..John was all I needed.. lady cop was good .. Zoey lady was cool

@@winniejohnson5559 I think they felt a lot of pressure to add female actors after Taraji left the show. Zoey's character was the perfect complement to John's but she's not in every episode - I've always wondered why! And yes, love John's character. Planning to rewatch sometime this year 😍

Attention to detail! Reese (or Jim himself) is a left hander and most likely has a dominant left eye and shoots most of the time from his left shoulder or with his left hand with pistols, both eyes open as you are supposed but the few times he shoulders a rifle on his right side he closes his left eye (0:39)

Or he's just looking down the sight. You know, as most people do when holding a gun with a reflex.

Lol friendship goals. What a humble bragger Mr. Reese is saying he wouldnt know if he would miss as he has never have missed before.

if you check the snipers in FUNKER530 - Veteran Community & Combat Footage youtube channel, you can see snipers with the same 50 caliber gun being shot without ear plugs. I am not saying its good not wearing ear protection but ye in the videos you can see snipers not using them at all.
