Yooooo. Taraji and Jim just clicked. They were the show and I would've loved to have seen her in the show longer than 2 and a half seasons. But Empire came a knocking and she took a chance. Jim is such an emotional man and you saw it in his face when he found out she was leaving. Even Michael Emerson. Now that tells you how great of a person Taraji is. I missed her so much on POI. She just brought out the best in everyone. Because she had her own characteristics in her character. Made Jim smile more. I tell the truth I stopped watching after season 3. And only saw a few of 4 and like 5 episodes of 5. Just wasn't the same without Taraji. CaReese all day everyday.

There aren't a lot of tv shows that make me cry but damn Person of Interest got me good with Carter's death - this show is one of the best crime drama shows that has ever been on tv, I wish it could last forever!

At my favorite point Joss Carter played by Taraji P Henson shed the tears to everybody with her speech.

I was tearing up just watching that ending! I hated to see Carter go! I wish they would have stuck with the 5 original members of the team! 😭 but like she said, “Carter is gone but never forgotten.” 🥺

I'm so happy to know she left the show on good terms and everyone loved everyone as a cast and crew. I thought I'd heard stuff about her wanting to quit and maybe she did to go onto bigger things for herself but it's amazing to know that she also valued her time with this cast that became her family.

I just started watching POI...season 1. I really enjoyed it, dont know why I didnt watch it when it aired on CBS. Sad to know her character dies. I like how much the cast genuinely seem to care about each other...forming a family away from their family like Taraji mentioned. I do hope they kept in touch.

apparently jim was the reason that she left the show. there is a podcast where they were talking about jim caviezel on the set of person of interest and that he was causing a lot of issues. One of those issues was him making racist remarks like refusing to have a romantic story plot with a main character played by a black woman. they did not mention their name but they were obviously talking about taraji p henson. if that really was the case it is kind of weird that he would be emotional about her departure. His refusal came from his believe that interracial relationsships are wrong and that is why they had to rewrite her character to the point of what we saw on that show. if you are interested in this podcast: Q Anon Anonymous- Episode 143 Jim Caviezel -Enter The Cavortex

@@TheJenny8888 Not sure about that, you can actually see the guy wiping away tears when she leaves, and he is obviously a decent guy, he adopted some orphan children with special needs, I am well gutted that they killed him off at the end, to me he is the main character and not Harold.

Denial Experiment this show never gained the attention or popularity it deserved. but lousy shows like keeping up with the kardashians, two broke girls, supernatural, sleepy hollow, once upon a time, big bang theory have been in a constant downward spiral, but still remain popular, and keep getting renewed.

+snake, "wasted on the American audience", you have NO idea what in the world you are talking about. MANY of us WERE VERY LOYAL to this show, and I refuse to take the blame for something I had NOTHING to do with (same thing with Sleepy Hollow after Season 3, once Nicole was gone that show also went off the rails and I finally give up).

I used to get really angry when shows killed off charterers, but if this character hadn't died, whose to say she would have landed Empire?
@mydogskips22 жыл бұрын
They killed her character off precisely so Taraji COULD DO Empire, she wanted to leave and told Nolan as much. He, understanding the great opportunity it was for her, reluctantly let her go. Also, I don't know why, she never really explained why, but Taraji has said that despite her great personal, professional, and financial success with this show, she was deeply unhappy; I guess she needed a change.
@_birdie4 жыл бұрын
thing is, she’s talked in interviews about how she was miserable in this show eventually. bc even though it was more money than she’d ever seen in her life (her words) she wasn’t being challenged creatively. said something like she begged and pleaded with God bc of how miserable she was. and she asked them to get off the show. so it’s very strange watching her say it’s the best experience ever in this video. but whatever the reason, the ending really was perfect. sucks, but still it felt right. and Taraji slayed it!
@barbaramccrary5724 жыл бұрын
birdie I saw that interview and was surprised by her saying she was unhappy in the role. When she came on Letterman after she was killed off the show she said it was always planned that her character would be killed. I think she liked the cast and crew but not how her role was written. It was obviously for the best because she makes movies and tv shows and is very successful
@sparkly214 жыл бұрын
If she wasn't happy with the role, then why were her fans going after the POI cast and crew's blood after she was killed off? I think Taraji should've said something when she got killed off the show that way there wouldn't be so much backlash against the creators.
@_birdie4 жыл бұрын
Yaz F yeah ur prob right. the interview wasn’t some big thing, plus it was for a magazine, and so her words weren’t really heard round the world yaknow? haha. but yes she should’ve said something to fans. prob didn’t wanna look bad though. “oh don’t be mean to the crew! it’s not their fault! i just hate working on the show that you love! toodles!” 😆haha

I dont understand why she disliked playing Carter... :( I'm just discovered this now in Netflix and I didnt think they'd gone Game of Thrones style and killed off a main character. I didnt see it coming I was SO SHOCKED.

I remember reading about that but clearly she had an emotional attachment to the cast and crew here. I work in film and I've seen that kind of bond you form when you work with people on set.

I find it strange how a married man (Jim) is crying over a single woman leaving a Tv show, and he seems to be the only one who's very emotional about Taraji leaving POI. I think something happened between those two, otherwise he wouldn't be so upset with her leaving the show.
@momeesan7 жыл бұрын
EXACTLY.
@katerinakucerova29376 жыл бұрын
Typical Scotomisation. You see only, what you want to see. I see that Jim is just a big softie, who would cry over everyone out of the Original 4 leaving the show. As said in this video, they formed "family" bonds. Beside this was taken right after they finished shooting the most emotional scene together. Beside Jim was hardly the only teary eyed one, while saying good bye to her.
@barbarawillis87395 жыл бұрын
What no he found her to be a pleasant woman to work with. Jim is kind of a quiet guy. He speaks when he is spoken to and he is not rude.
@kimpossible29145 жыл бұрын
I find this statement strange. Why must a man be criticized for showing emotion? And that they must be having sex for him to be upset? He cares about his friend, someone he considers to be family. The cast seemed to be close, which was a good thing. I think the reason why there is so much toxic masculinity is that men are not allowed to express themselves emotionally. Crying, showing love for a friend is consider weakness. Thinking like this needs to stop.
