Survival Trick I just find not useful, since this late in you probably have easy access to Bless/Curse immunity skills.

As I said the main ones are Kawakami and Mishima, but having full access to Iwai and Takemi's shops is also fun. Also Yusuke can duplicate skill cards instantly and in dungeons from the start, which is also very fun.

First off, I do look a bit different. Goldmary has been on my mind a lot and I have some fun plans for her in my third playthrough of Engage and I also thought this fanart of her looked really cool. Really cool to see the confidants in the Thieves' Den since I can see that leading to some interesting dialogue. Morgana can have some really weird costumes. I assume Ishtar and Anzu might relate to Satan or Lucifer in some way but I am not sure myself. Funnily enough, I did prepare Satanael's components for a Pagan Allure build for my NG+. I believe I am focusing on the main four elements and the all hitting severe tier versions of those skills. I probably will need some help with some spell cards to perfect the build. My brother just focused on Megidolaon and Victory Cry to nuke everything to make it through NG+ quick. I do find Pagan Allure fascinating for a mixed element build but most of his other builds can be replicated by other Personas decently well like the Almighty and Gun Build so I can see why you think he is underwhelming. It might be the Dark Suit Akechi wore in the NG playthrough and it got carried over. While I haven't fought that super boss battle, I do have two Personas who are built to destroy them which I will talk about next time. I am sorry to hear that and I wish I knew a way to help you cheer you up. I will hope and pray things continue to improve like what happened today. Skul sounds like it has been going well and I wish you luck for besting the fourth area boss. I guess this might help cheer you up. I remember playing and beating Legacy of Goku 2 a good while ago. I think it was when I emulated GBA games on my phone since I heard it was a good DBZ game. It was fun to play if a bit difficult at points which was probably not helped by having to use touch controls on my phone. I also really liked the story considering the Android and Cell Sagas were one of the strong points of DBZ's plot and of course the soundtrack was epic with my favourite being the boss theme but a lot of the soundtrack is so good and made really good use of the GBA's soundfont. I did play its sequel, Buu's Fury, and I think I beat that too. It was much easier although I didn't like the story as much since it was based on the Buu Saga but the soundtrack was still great. As for me, I did play some more Cold Steel 2 and I made my preparations and started the next arc of the game. I also had a lot of fun using Sharon for the first time and I did mention being really excited to use her last time and she didn't disappoint. The next play session should be interesting since I might be meeting up with my favourite character from Cold Steel 1 as well. As for Gran Turismo 3, I did do the Type R Meeting which was a five race championship. Championships are a series of races with a points system and the better your race results, the more points you get. I clean sweeped it thanks to the upgrades I gave the Honda Civic Type R last time. At the end of the championship, I also got a cash bonus for winning it alongside the money for winning each of the races so I got a total of 35,000 credits. I also won an Acura RSX as the prize car. This car is kind of why this Championship is important since in the PAL version, you can sell it for 75,000 credits meaning I can grind 110,000 credits from repeating the championship if I so wish and having that grind spot for insurance is really nice. I also did the Yaris Race in my pink Yaris I won last time which was also a five race championship so I won a good amount again of money again. The Yaris also proved kind of fun to drive due to how lively it was with the upgrades. The prize car was another Yaris which I sold since I don't need two of the same car. Next will be another championship called the Altezza race and I have prepared a Toyota Altezza which should do well in clearing this championship. My brother also completed his second Maddening playthrough. 25 went interestingly due to those reinforcements which did force my brother to break out the warps to beat it. The final chapter was no problem for him though. Again, it was a good playthrough which showcased a very good strategy for beating Maddening too and I wonder if you can figure it out yourself if you do Maddening yourself. We also got the DLC which means tomorrow, I might start my third playthrough or even the Fell Xenologue. I know I will also watch my brother do the Fell Xenologue as well.

Somewhat tempted to try her at some point since she seems to be a good unit, just got turned off by first impressions (though giving some benefit of the doubt). Plus it'd be fun to use her solely to watch some of the emblem inadvertently roast her (or in the case of Soren if I even do the DLC, purposefully do so lol). Again, it's a really nice detail and having it be in this gallery area works so well to justify these interactions. The cat really does. Yeah, that's probably the best answer we'd get. Thinking on it harder though, Ishtar might be there due to Lucifer sometimes employing a female disguise as well in SMT and a blond hair woman with demon/devil-like horns might be trying to allude to that. Still lost on Anzu besides uncreative joke on the obnoxious SMTV ones (which this game has no way in hell able to reference due to releasing two years earlier). Yeah, he does need skill card investment due to only having four free skill slots during fusion. Also sounds like your brother pretty much went what I'm jokingly going to call the "Budget Beelzebub Build" in that it pretty much sounds like what Nocturne Beelzebub naturally gets with the Death Flies + Victory Cry combo for mob clearing if you manage to get him. To the skill's credit, it does sound like a great skill to make an all rounder, which I do appreciate and wish there was more of that in these games (super specialized stuff can be a bit boring and generalists can be fun when done right like here), though for something that's only for NG+ and it being THE main draw of it for new Personas/demons, it does feel very disappointing. That could explain it, but it's VERY odd it's the only costume that works like that. That'll be fun to hear about next time. I'll deal with it, just needed to rant/scream a bit. Still, just the consideration and wanting to help is very appreciated. Got to at least 89/90, so if I keep the pace like that, there's a chance before finishing and being free form MD until the end of the month (which I might be actually enjoying if I think a certain thing happens). Many thanks for that. Will be mainly coming down to getting last few upgrades for buffs, practice to minimize/avoid damage on certain potential run killer fights, and a whole lot of luck. Legacy 2 is such a great game. It is a bit of a difficult game, but a fun one none the less. Also yeah, that plus some more precise stuff you need to do in that game would add some more troubles. While it can't quite perfectly recreate the best things about that saga, the fact it can do it a decent job for it still lets it work a lot. And yeah the music is frikin amazing. I'd be so bold to say that it's both definitive proof of the GBA's sound chip actually being good and really needing the right hands to make it amazing AND in specifically for the OST, outright improves some songs (biggest example being the song that plays in the Piccolo V.S 17 fight). I need to play Buu's Fury one day, even if I don't think it'll be as amazing as Legacy 2. Fury's a lot easier game (leaning a lot more into the power fantasy side, which has its own major pros and cons depending on who you're asking) and any game focused on the Buu Saga will share its faults (although credit to the game for doing a surprisingly decent job of incorporating the Fusion Reborn stuff into a plausible part of the saga where it *could* happen). Music's pretty great in its own right as well from what I've heard of it. Nice to hear the CS2 session was quite fun and that this Sharon lived up to your expectations given they were how you first got exposed to the series. Best of luck with the next arc and hope it's as fun. Great to hear all of the prep work in GT3 has paid off spectacularly. Great work on being able to beat the Type R Meeting and now having nice grinding spot for cash, especially if it enables you to make even great cars to help you out/fun to try out. Altezza Race proves similarly fruitful when you tackle that. Congrats to your brother for clearing Maddening. Warp Skipping 25 is pretty much the go-to way of clearing it. I did it as well, though less for avoiding the reinforcements (little did I know about that when I was trying to perfect the warp Strats), but because I see how one could and since it didn't seem too map breaking (the main reason I usually avoid warp skips), figured I'd give it a shot. Man did that pay off well and I can imagine it more so on Maddening. Also yeah, besides maybe barring yourself from using the time crystal and bad timing for the "gimmick," final map doesn't seem *too* bad on Maddening, especially when I hear (slightly serious but mostly) jokes of 25 being the real final map. Given how people seemingly invent millions of Strats for Engage to break it, might be harder to figure out which one it might be. Also have fun with the Fell Xenolouge you two. Though I'm still blind on it barring very slight spoilers, I have heard some vague horror stories, so I mean the best of luck to you two more than I usually mean it.

Her character is a strange but does make me laugh a lot especially when she talks to some of the Emblems. A very nice detail indeed and it maybe worth looking up some of those interactions. That might be why Ishtar is there. Anzu is the outlier but I guess he flies and so does Satanael so maybe that. Can't go wrong with almighty attacks to plow through enemies and Victory Cry to get it all back. Making Satanael an all rounder like that sounded the most fun to me which is why I prepared a build like that. He also isn't as overpowered as some of the DLC Personas too especially Izanagi-no-Okami who also stole the most damage from an almighty attack from him in this game due to Myriad Truths being much stronger than Black Viper. That is good to hear. Hope things keep going in a good direction too. Once you are all practiced up, I know you can do it. Legacy of Goku 2 is a very underrated RPG for the GBA. It was also inspired by the Mana series on the SNES so maybe a good reason to check out those games one day. Maybe I will look into the composer and see what else they worked on besides Legacy of Goku. I feel whether you like Buu's Fury more or not is entirely personal preference since some people may like the lower difficult especially since 2 can be quite hard at points too. The music is still great as well. It will be fun to talk about the Sharon story at a later point. Due to the RSX being worth a lot more in the PAL version, that version is preferred for a speedrun. Hopefully the Altezza race also goes well. He did get pretty far into the map before the reinforcements proved too much so he warped to the boss. The final boss is pretty simple to kill in one turn which helps. It will be interesting to see if you can figure it out. You can also ask me about what he did whenever too. I heard something similar too so it will be interesting to see what it will be like.

I don't think that conversation changes. I pre-recorded the twins fight last year, and I don't think I have a save file left from before Futaba joins. I could play up to that point in the new file, although that'd require beating the Kamoshida arc. I believe there's no NG+ bonus, there's only one if you 100% the Thieves Den (which I'll be showing in the Lavenza video).

I usually like using him for the superboss just because, and resisting everything is convenient. I end up re-building him for the Royal Superboss, by the way. The skill called Freikugel in Nocturne is "Supreme Magic Bullet" in Japanese, and Riot Gun is the same. The localizaers make sure to call it Freikugel whenever the Demi-Fiend uses it and Riot Gun otherwise. (Freikugel is also always Almighty instead of Gun) 4A even has BOTH versions!

Not in P5 itself. I generally just don't find it very fun to keep levelling low-level Personas, since their exp gain is so slow and you need to farm a lot of Alarms. I tried in Strikers since Arsene there gets some high-tier skills eventually, but I gave up there too since it was still a pain.

It also sucks that it locks 100% compendium completion behind NG+, as I keep saying. I wonder if Sinful Shell will show up if he ever appears as DLC in a future game.

I sort of predicted it too, but I was really hoping I was wrong. Then I saw the leaked trophy list and "One Who Rebels Against A God" and was like "welp, they're doing this again."

That's what's put me off doing the Elizabeth fight in P3. P5's is I will say MUCH easier to do than 4 or 3's, entirely due to Special Treatment. If you carry that over and buy back a Lv 90s Persona, you can theoretically fight the Twins as early as 5/18, just kill the Reaper a few times with Jose's exp boost all the way up. (You'll be stuck with Morgana, Ryuji and Ann but... they're a solid party for this)

I would recommend actually fighting them as soon as they are available You’ll probably get your ass beat, but the first time you fight them they give you an Expedite Ring, for 50% more EXP gain.

I guessed that'd happen. I hear it's broken, too.

@@BigKlingy it’s an almighty attack that inflicts Dark Insta-kill. I don’t think it’s nearly as powerful as Myriad Truths in the long run, but Sataneal having resistance to non almighty attacks more than makes up for it.

I feel this one gives you just enough options to speed through things if you want, while also letting you NOT break everything if you want to fully experience things again. Having Special Massage early actually changes the game a LOT, making NG+ feel more unique than a typical one.

Well, he DID already save Christmas. Satanael just likes Christian holidays I guess.

I can see why it'd come across that way. I personally think it's more okay than most because Chidori was a character with agency and development up until that point, unlike say Lumera in Engage who pretty much exists ENTIRELY to die and make Alear sad. (Although she ends up getting posthumous development) Also helping matters in P3 has a male character die and motivate people in a similar way, so it's not like ONLY females get that treatment. Thinking about it, it'd be cool if Chidori actually joined though.

It's a list on a clipboard in P5, as the "Inmate Registry", that could be why.

Stats in general feel low at the high levels in P5, typically around the mid 60's at Lv 99. You CAN go all the way to 99, but it's only really necessary for the superbosses. In P3 and 4 higher-level Personas tended to have stats in the 80's-90's.
