Personal Ranking: Thumbelina

It's been a bit since I made a good rank, and I have come to discover that very, very few rankings of Thumbelina exist relative to other princess characters, even compared to other non-Disney characters like Anya or Odette. A shame, because I love this bizarre movie - a favorite of my Sweetface too - and she has a lot of great voices, whether it be classic voices of the 90s picking up another role, or a great voice doing its only princess appearance.

Really love your 4th, 3rd and 2nd positions! Actually they are my Top 3 Thumbelina's voices but in different order: 1st Gunilla, 2nd Jannike and 3RD Mariana! For the rest i totally agree with you, maybe i'd only switch two or three position. :)

GOOD! I love how tropically cheerful your video looks; that background picture really evokes something very positive! Coming to the ranking, I legit laughed at how tense the 2016 Brazilian dub sounded, ewww. Her vibrato gives me Adriana Caselotti vibes, but her tone and overall vocal is squished up like she recorded this in a store room or a jail lmao.. .XD I only feel Marjorie should be higher, I really associate her bright, almost chipmunky tone on Thumbelina, I think it's one of the roles where she really 'feels like home' haha...and I'd also shove Gunilla Backman lower; her voice itself is beautiful and her words are very articulate and dynamic, so much that I feel she's trying too hard. Susanne Elmark is the true star here, her voice shines on Thumbelina and yet it doesn't sound overbearing like one would expect since she is an actual opera singer; truly one of the bests. Kudos on your return btw!

I just cant do it with Marjorie lol. I think Mariana dos Anjos is the greatest thing and everything that lesser Thumbelinas attempted, she did better. I actually think Majorie sounds best as Odette but who cares because Odette is a...not very fleshed out character...so there's no need to worry of things like 'fit'.

Ranee MacIntosh To me, Marjorie always sounded like a twin sister of Manuela Villa (ITA Pocahontas) except that Marjorie sounded a lot more sweeter and less corny. For this reason I never felt she sounded right on Belle or Odette, but Thumbelina is where she truly shines since her voice has that natural 'tiny-ness' in it, but yeah, it practically sounds the same as Belle and Odette so I can understand why you can't appreciate her. Her best for me is Daria in The Princess And The Pea, by that time her voice matured like a fine wine, but that character and the film itself are a travesty so it never gets enough attention loool.
